"My husband and I recently “adopted” my parents toy poodle. They both passed away this summer and though we lost family, we gained a new “addition” to our family. They lived out of state so we were tasked with finding a new groomer. We had her groomed the last time we were in that state so we bought ourselves a little time. I work in a busy doctors office with many pup lovers. I asked around for recommendations, because this little monkey was my moms pride and joy and I only wanted the best. I received a few recommendations from trusted friends, but was cautioned about how difficult it is to get on the clientele list for groomers in the Dubuque area. I reached out to a few, scoured websites for pictures, and read as many reviews as I could. I never heard back from some of the ones I reached out to. However, within less than a hour of leaving a message at F.U.R on 14th I received communication back from them! Nikki gave the information I needed and we were able to get our little pup in THE VERY NEXT DAY! I expected to have a long wait…but they were fabulous! My husband, who is tough to please, was immediately impressed with them when he dropped our pup off. He even texted photos to me of her as soon as he picked her up! This is a guy who for 20 years of marriage has said he never wanted a doggie. (He was only willing to adopt her out of his great respect for my parents.). He was very pleased, and proud, of how nice she looked! I can not say enough wonderful things about F.U.R on 14th! Except, if you take your pup here, you WILL NOT be disappointed.
