"We love the ECC!! My daughter goes 2 days a week and had a hard transition initially (from being away from mom) but her teachers, Mr. Scott and Ms. Dana, were so sweet and accommodating. The school itself is amazing, she loves going here! She also attends the Discover Club program before and after school and Ms. Ashley, Chelsea, Betty and Mr. Chris are absolutely amazing to her."

"I have two children currently enrolled in MRH ECC and one who has moved on to the elementary school. I've been a parent at the school for 6 years and am continuously impressed with the high quality teachers, administrators, and staff. My children are not only excelling academically, but also socially. The school practices the Reggio Emilia approach which is child-centered and puts emphasis on exploration, play and inquiry-based learning. This approach has resulted in all of my children becoming empowered to be creative, thoughtful, and inquisitive when undertaking any learning - both inside and outside of school. There is an organic garden and an entire seed-to-table program, wonderful outdoor spaces, an exemplary music program, and colorful engaging classrooms. The ECC is truly an extraordinary school and I feel incredibly fortunate that my children are there."

"When I volunteered for the ECC PTO, I had the opportunity to work with Dr. Hebenstreit, Molly Sauer, Peggy Russell and Betty Pierson. Each person exemplifies what a caring person and caring educator truly is. Right now, all three of my children attend the ECC’s pre-school or the K-2 school. All three enjoy their teachers and their time at school. If I have a question or concern, I know I can (and I have) contact administrators or my children’s teachers to talk with them and whatever concerns I have will be addressed for the benefit of my children. This is the school district you want to be in if you want teachers that truly care about your child."

"I am shocked by the other reviews and so must post to show my love for this school. Dr. Hebenstreit knows every child’s name that attends the school, which is just one example of the individual care and attention each child receives. All of the teachers we’ve had have been excellent. Nurse Michelle is a godsend for us. Ultimately, the diversity of the population that attends this school racially, and economically, keeps us where we are. It’s so important, especially now, to show children we are more alike than what separates us."

"We moved to this district because we heard good things. And our teacher this past year was indeed good. However, all of the staff at the ECC, from the principal to the secretary (Molly is terrible) to the woman who runs the after care program (Betty) - they are all awful. They treat you with condescension, don't return phone calls, are extremely *uneager* to help in any way, shape, or form. My wife tells me it's the new construction and that they are just busy with that this year. Maybe, but a person's attitude is a person's attitude, and someone who shows no kindness, concern, or empathy probably does it whatever the circumstances. I sincerely wish that we had never moved to this school district."
