About the Business
Located at 6501 3rd Avenue in Kenosha, Wisconsin, the Kemper Center is a unique institution set on the grounds of a 17.5 acre Kenosha County Park with stunning views of Lake Michigan. The center features a conference center, historic chapel, Civil War-era mansion, observatory, arboretum, and fine art gallery.
The main goal of the Kemper Center is to preserve the historic nature of the site and buildings while offering programs that promote an understanding of local history and all arts. The center serves as a historic setting for cultural, recreational, and educational activities for the community.
In addition to preserving history, the Kemper Center also aims to increase awareness of the arts and contribute to arts education in the community. This is achieved through hosting performances, exhibitions, workshops, lectures, and special events. The center also supports and encourages the activities of other arts organizations within the community.

The Vice-President of the center is Jason Rasch from Rasch Construction & Engineering. "Update: Unfortunately we cannot add new reviews, but I toured the mansion today. Durkee Mansion: I was met by three lovely ladies and had a great conversation with them. I have an interest for old solid structures and I love mansions. I'm attaching pictures although some of them could be better. Review on music venues: I enjoyed some of the venues that played here this past summer and the setting is nice. During events, parking can be difficult but in my experience getting there a little early helps a lot. I missed the Suffrage Jazz event this year."
