"Dr. Nguyen provides excellent and comprehensive care, is one of the best doctors my husband and I have ever had, and we trust him completely. His staff is friendly and helpful. Always has my information and makes appointments when needed. Dr. Nguyen knows everything about us and has an excellent bedside manner. We have multiple problems, his referrals are to great specialists, and he follows our progress with all our specialists and advises treatments with each."

"I find Dr. Casey Nguyen is very unprofessional in communication with patients. He never listens to patient's concerns, always rudely interupt & put words in patience's mouth, sometime ridiculed patient's concerns. He seems unhappy when he was asked for a referal to see other doctors. He made this process very difficult. My wife has been asked for a referal twice, still couldn't have the services she asked for. He even refused to give her the referring clinic's phone number to contact. It also very hard to get a hold or a call back from his office's staffs. My sister experienced the same night mare. She now switched to different doctor. My wife will, too. I found him very callous & egotistical - Lack of empathy as a normal human being! I would not recommend him to anyone."

"Dr. Casey is one of the most intelligent and caring doctors I have ever known, after all aren’t these qualities what any patient is looking for in an doctor?"

"Short Version: Dr office sent scripts with wrong DOB; called to clear error, got cussed at by Dr. Casey K. Nguyen. Dr. office never confirmed DOB per HIPAA Law. CVS confirmed Dr office sent wrong info and corrected Dr office mistake. Long Version: I was a new patient beginning in January '22. Doctor sent prescriptions to my local CVS. I went to CVS several times trying to pick them up but they consistently said nothing was available for pickup. Called Dr Casey K. Nguyen to confirm they were sent to correct CVS, they were. Indicating something with my verifiable information sent by the doctors office was incorrect. I called Dr. Casey K. Nguyen back after speaking with the pharmacists, (pharma said the Dr would need to call in to check on scripts.) Dr Nguyen said he called them a moment earlier and talked to the assistant at CVS and they confirmed the scripts were ready. I tried to explain to Dr Nguyen that there was still a problem because I had gone in person to CVS 3 times and called numerous times and had just called them and they said they did not have anything under my name & DOB. Dr. Casey K. Nguyen started getting agitated and raising his voice saying that "he freaking called it in, not a freaking nurse" and that "if I think he's lying I can go to the CVS and call while I'm there so he can talk to them on my phone". I called CVS back and explained that my doctor just got done cussing at me and if they could please check my verifiable info. The pharmacists checked another profile that was created under my name, but with the wrong DOB, confirming the Dr office sent incorrect info, making it impossible for me to pick up because the DOBs did not match. The CVS Pharmacist corrected the issue, combined the profile and applied the correct insurance. Immediately called Irving Family Practice office back and talked to the receptionist, and let them know they had my DOB wrong. Receptionist was apologetic and asked if I wanted to talk to Dr again. I said no, I don't think it will be productive after he had just got done cussing at me about a clerical mistake. If the doctor had some humility and had not immediately been combative when questioned about an easily verifiable clerical error, this would have been a non-issue. But Dr Casey K. Nguyen chose to berate and cuss at a new patient who was simply trying to pick up their meds. Not once during my conversations with the Dr. Nguyen or receptionist confirm my DOB to ensure my private info was secure. If the Dr. had followed HIPAA protocol while speaking to patients and confirmed verifiable info this would not have happened."
