"If we could give minus stars, we would. The Mercedes office is, by far, the worst doctor's office. There is no legitimate care given and it makes you wonder what's really going on here. It starts with the receptionist (very unprofessional and unknowledgeable). The head nurse is extremely rude and does not understand that patients are there for medical care. Not sure if Dr. Penalo exists. He's never there, always unavailable, and 'he's seeing patients' but we've NEVER SEEN HIM. STAY AWAY!!!!"
"I’ve never had bad experiences with this office before. Staff is good and respectful. Yet, the one time they tell me it’s time for a pap smear (which I hardly get) I decided to schedule about 2 months in advance for them to call me one day before and tell me the person they scheduled me with is not certified? I am from out of town and having them reschedule a 2nd time for their mistake they admitted to is not right. They assumed that person was certified and to tell me a day before? I scheduled with another dr now. I won’t be returning to Dr. Penalos office again. To get rescheduled over and over again? No. Do your jobs better. You went into that practice, do it right or not at all."
