"Neil was absolutely awesome from start to finish. Our builder grade TorqueMaster Plus garage spring broke on a Tuesday afternoon. I called around to several places, and no one else was able to come out that day. Thankfully, I called The Up and Up Doors, and Neil was able to come by and give us an estimate that same afternoon, only a few hours after the initial call. He was the most reasonable and straightforward person to work with (and we got multiple quotes from a couple of companies). When he came out, he didn't charge us a trip fee, and he explained the issue and our options. He recommend converting our existing setup to a standard torsion spring system. After getting a couple of other estimates on Wednesday that were almost twice as expensive, we called Neil back and got on his schedule for the following day, Thursday, for the conversion and repair. On the day of the repair, he gave us a heads up when he was heading to our house and arrived exactly when he said he would. He finished the work in about 1.5 hours and did an awesome job. He doubled checked the door balance and made sure the opener worked properly as well. We would definitely recommend him hands down for any garage door related issues, and will be giving him a call the next time we have any garage door related issues."

"When I bought my new house, I began considering a whole array of projects to brighten it up from the curb. Before spending a small fortune on siding and new windows, I thought I'd start by replacing our old garage door with something more stylish. Up & Up was the 5th garage door company in the ATX area I'd invited out for a consult, and offered me the best price for the same design. Custom doors do take a while to manufacture and ship, which I was prepared for, but Neil and his team took care of me by keeping me updated and explaining my options to remain within budget while still achieving the right effect. They also installed a brand new torsion bar and track as part of the price of the door, which is much quieter than the one it replaced. I really love pulling up in the driveway to see this door - which makes a great statement, as it's the single largest design element on the front of the house."

"The owner Neil is very knowledgeable about his products and made very good recommendations on the garage doors and openers to replace my worn-out equipment. When asked for his opinion by my wife and me, he gave an excellent recommendation for the walnut texture and color. His installers showed good attention to detail, were efficient and friendly. The replacement took about 4.5 hours; they hauled off the old doors, openers, and parts; and left the work area clean. The pictures show before and after - the white doors without the glass panels are the old doors. The frosted glass panels at the top are great - they let light in, but the contents of the garage cannot be seen from the outside. The new doors and Linear brand Model LDC0800 belt-drive openers are very quiet and smooth - the previous doors and openers sounded like someone was breaking into the house when the doors were raised and lowered! This was a significant enhancement to the usability of my garage and appearance of the house. From my experience, I can give a happy and unreserved recommendation for Up & Up Garage Doors."
