"4 months to fix a thermocouple temperature sensor. What should have been a 15-20$ part somehow turned into a 900$ fiasco that kept my machine in their hands for 4 months. The initial problem was a temperature reading -119c. Took it to them to repair. 2 months later got a call that after they replaced the part they turned the machine on to test it and it blew all the fuses. 2 more months and 900$ I have the machine back and it seems to work. But there's no way a machine that was powering up before a temp sensor swap "blows up" when you turn it on to "test". They replaced 2 fuses and a relay. That means they took the 110v adapter off my power cable and plugged it into 220v outlet without having the FIRST bit of knowledge how the machine or electricity works and it blew the fuses and fused the relay. Fuses and relays don't just short out on their own and get replaced with no underlying additional component going bad. This means they made a costly mistake repairing the machine and charged me for their ignorance to the tune of AT LEAST 500$. Lesson learned. I'd steer as far away from these guys as you can."

"Matt, if you feel we've misstated our experience with your company, then we invite you to respond to our texts or call us, rather than retaliate by having your wife and friends post fake one-star reviews of our restaurant and fake 5-star reviews of your business to compensate. This is precisely the kind of underhanded behavior we objected to in our review, and which we believe does terrible damage to Austin's close-knit, high-trust business culture, rather than facing up to your obligations and engaging in an open discussion with a legitimately dissatisfied customer. --- We were shocked by Matt's bad faith and dishonesty in the way he handled the sale of a commercial ice machine for our new restaurant. Matt and his company BinxCorp were introduced to us by a prominent restaurant industry friend in Austin. Since Austin's restaurant community is small and close-knit, we assumed we could trust him with a handshake deal. Matt told us he had the ice machine we wanted in Houston, and asked us to write him a check for it, which we did without hesitation. Several days later, he told us that, in fact, he didn't have it in Houston, and we'd have to order it for delivery in 4-5 months. As a new restaurant, we desperately needed an ice machine, so we told him No thank you, we'd find another solution. We never thought to cancel the check. 4-1/2 months later, Matt cashed our check and told us he was keeping 20% as a "deposit". We reminded him we had cancelled our order when he told us he no longer had the machine we'd paid for in stock, but that didn't seem to matter to him. Now he won't even respond to us. Our industry friend was so embarrassed that he offered to pay us back the deposit himself, since he felt bad for recommending Matt to us. People who violate trust in a small, close-knit community in this way do tremendous damage and don't deserve to do business with that community. We will never do business with Matt or BinxCorp again, and we will warn all our industry friends and anyone who will listen to avoid him and his company like the plague."

We appreciate all the support we get as a busy coffee shop in the domain & love the community they bring. It’s always awesome being able to support a local service company.
