"I came in for an iPhone screen replacement, and through the AppleCare online portal I was able to come in for my scheduled appointment luckily ASAP the next day. When I came in, I was greeted by a woman who informed me that she would have to CHECK if they even had my phone screen in stock to do the repair. To get it fixed with geek squad I had to come back another day. And risk that their online portal was going to be hopefully accurate this time… I rescheduled for the Apple Store and I don’t plan on using geek squad for this type of service again. When I was expressing my issue with the Employee, listen… I totally get trying to be cool, but it was as if she just wanted me to shut my mouth and stop talking so that she could just roll her eyes and tell me “well that’s the way it is, have a nice day.”"

"Was told I would have to leave my phone with them and either give them full access to my data (including my unlock code) or wipe everything and deactivate my ownership in order for them to replace the screen protector."

"Spent $200 and they didn't even fix my computer. When I dropped it off they said it would be "at worst" 72 hours before repairs were complete. They were not "complete" until more than four days later, and then I had to wait another day just to get an appointment. When I called in to clarify that I had to wait and entire day to come pick up my device, the employee on the phone hung up on me. When I finally went to pick it up, I was told they had been unsuccessful at completing repairs and no changes had been made to my device, but I could give them even MORE money to have them send it off to have the hardware looked at, which would take at least three weeks. They only had "suspicions" about what the problem with the hardware was. Horrible service and horrible communication."

"Geek Squad one-year maintenance and repair plan is fantastic. Both the technicians in the store and online are knowledgeable, friendly, and flexible. They have excellent communication skills. As a customer, I always feel listened to, valued, and not rushed. This is a great plan for people with limited knowledge of computer maintenance and repair. I have purchased it for quite a few years and will continue to renew it."

"I went there today because my Dell laptop had a broken screen. The technician who assist me advise me that it was going to cost me around 270-300$ to get it fix, plus they cant do it on their location and they have to ship it somewhere else, which this process will take around a month or two. He DID offer the option on save my information "in case it gets lost" with them for nothing less than a 100.00 Once I told him that I couldn't believe the price and the time it will take to repair it, he told me "I strongly recommend to just buy a new one" He said that they sometimes are not able to get it fix and if he was me, he just will buy a new one. I left that place and look for another one Parts-People, as soon as I walked into their store, they look at my computer and told me that it would cost 80$ to fix it and it will be ready in 10 min. Completely unbelievable!!!!! They did a great job and and super cheap. Never ever going to even consider Geek Squad."
