"A technician came to our house and diagnosed what he understood was the problem. Told us we should buy the part at Lowes and install it ourselves as it was an easy plug/unplug battery charger replacement. Said his company would charge $280 to do it and, if we did it ourselves, it would only mean we had to pay the $85 visit fee. He offered that we could call/text and he would walk us through everything at no cost. He mentioned we should let the charger charge the battery up to 48 hours. We sourced the part and installed it per his instructions. All lights were on and we actually waited 82 hours to use the gate. Nothing worked (tied using key pad, remotes and control from the car). We send the technician a text message with pictures explaining why we were swing. Message was read but never acknowledged. We called the business this Monday and explained what had happened. We said we were concerned We could potentially face another $85 charge and no problem resolution and that we wanted to be sure the work w as done as we had paid $85 a week ago. We made an appointment for today. The technician called and the first this he brought up was the service fee, which we challenged. He then became extremely rude. We contacted the office to file a complaint, requested a different technician and were assured a manager would call us back shortly to resolve the matter. No call and no technician two hours later, we called again for a status update. We were then informed the manager was busy, and that the only technician available was the rude one. When we said we did not mind waiting until someone else’s schedule opened up, we were informed tthe business only has a single gate technician on the payroll. Everyone else is a garage door technician. Terrible and disappointing experience as a customer."
