"I've wasted enough time today by typing this. I need customers to be AWARE. They lie. I buy extra $300 worth of storage for a PS5 at Best Buy out of town for Black Friday. I'm in their system since they ask for our number after a purchase. I liked the kid who pushed for the SALE. I love effort and trying to make his company money. I come back to Houston and I call Geek Squad and explained exactly WHAT I NEEDED. I knew it was 2 minutes of work due to the YOUTUBE Video online from the manufacturer. I was told $40 bucks and Geek Squad said" We do this ALL THE TIME". $40 bucks for a screw. Okay.I accept the quote. I show up and after 10-15 minutes I'm told their call center is wrong and we don't want to risk doing this? I said " There is NO risk. I'm Surprised that their NOT DOING IT and I've wasted a trip driving up to Best Buy. I said " it's one screw and I don't have the screwdriver". Why was I told they do this when I explained what I needed and got a QUOTE and confirmation EMAIL. They don't care about YOUR TIME. My opinion is their LAZY or Stupid. I'm surprised by their actions. I mentioned my displeasure on the way out to Kevin. HE could care less and he is at the FRONT. Unless he is deaf or ignored me. What is GOING ON BEST BUY? I go across the street because I google computer repair and it was worth a shot. Thank God for IFIX. The guy did the work in 3 minutes and didn't want to charge me because he said " It's really just one screw". I decided to TIP him the $40 I planned to give to Geek Squad. IFIX actually showed me how to pop the cover of the PS5. He said " they sell covers and are meant to come off if wanted". Hello Geek Squad Bunker Hill. Please HIRE A TECH that wants to do work. I scheduled my day around this appt. Please value peoples time."

"What in the hell is it with geeksquad customers service line? First a called, that first person dint know a simple question, so he transfer me to tech support, then some lady answer, i ask is this the tech supp dept? Cause obviously, i dint wanna be waiting again. She then rudely tells no answer to my question, and in a sarcastic tone, tells me what are you calling for? Why do you need tech support?... so i ask again, what she said the same answer with a bigger attitude, so i explained the situation, and without a breather or answer she just puts me in hold, witch i was alredy for more than 30 min...and then someone pickup, dint talk, and hang up... the end. I guess they forget who gets there bills paid..."

"The Geek Squad at this location is Horrible. Very poor customer Service. They don't answer the phone or return calls. Counter is just as bad. They might be able to fix your computer but it will be on their time and when they get around to it. Good Luck. I would go to another location. This one is poorly operated."

"Geek squad is a waste of money. I bought GS because I wanted to buy American. I had used IYogi before. The only time I needed to use it was to re=arrange my new computer. I had transferred all my files on to new computer because GS won't touch a machine they deem to be on its way out. The worst cock up was the windows live mail. They were clueless at the store. I asked them to find me someone within the company that had the knowledge. Of course I never heard from them again. I even have an email where they promised to call me to sort out the problem. You guessed it....they didn't. In order for Best buy to continue to compete they will need to offer more services. Thereby adding value and causing more people to visit their huge, expensive stores. Next time I will be more vigilant and read the reviews before buying. Beware the review websites....they are merely affiliates. Good bye Best buy. I will now not even buy an electronic product from your store. Like many I will buy online. If you hold shares ion this company I would dump them. They will go just like Barnes and Noble etc."
