"You are better off using your broken electronics as a step stool or a curling puck. Took in a receiver in for warranty repair that was having a small issue and they made it unusable. Now they want to charge a min of $99 for labor to work on it, because "it would be a loss". This is like if I took my car in for a chip in the windshield and it came back spiderwebbed and they want more money to fix the issue they caused. While you're at it don't buy Yamaha products, those are trash too."

"I myself live in Louisiana, but I was going to Houston for medical purposes. I discovered a place that repaired line 6 equipment was in Houston and it would be cheaper for me to take my amp there since I have to go there for check ups than to send it to Little Rock or New Orleans. Shipping is a little bit more expensive to add. Someone from Line 6 tech-support told me of this location, that they was authorized by Line 6. I stopped by there on September 11, 23 when I was on my way to see the doctor and drop it off at Bammel Tv. I spoke with an employee, told him it wouldn’t be till November 15, 23 that I would be back to Houston. I want to say after that, at least four different times they sent me a message to call them stating that my amp was repaired. Each time called there was a different answer. The first time they said no-fault found. I told them from the get-go, the problem was the reverb pot. Second they told me they was going to have to replace the power supply. There was no problem with the power supply. The reverb has a glitch or something with it. It does not always do it, but randomly starts changing the Reverb effect upon the knob(pot). I told them to play through it more when they have time and they will notice the problem. I wasn’t coming back till 11/15/23. The third time they sent me a message, I called and they stated it was a pot that did need to be replaced and Line 6 didn’t produced it anymore and I would have to get an aftermarket one. As they were authorized, I didn’t think anything different upon it and said it doesn’t matter whatever just as long as you can fix it. They told me I would have to pay them $150 total or at least 50 to order the part. I paid the 99 the day I dropped it off for diagnostics. I paid the 50 with a card but stated I was going to pay the rest when I come to pick up the amp. It did not bother me paying extra using my card, but for some reason they always tried to get me to just give them my account number, etc. Like an over the phone check I guess. Anyway, when I arrived there yesterday morning, November 15th, I gave him the 100 and I started playing, and the next thing you know, this thing was worse than it was when I dropped it off originally. The Master knob previously did not control the Reverb like it does. In other words, take over the reverb when the Reverb knob was let go of if that makes any sense. And it still did the reverb leveling or whatever on its own. After that he stated that it was most likely going to need the main board/motherboard to be replaced. Isn’t that supposed to be already discovered when the pot is replaced if so? I had to do similar work for NCR on main boards, etc. A port is connected/soldered the same way a photometer(spelt right?) As an Authorized Line 6 repair company, they’re bogus. Don’t use them. I’m guessing they find some way to keep your equipment and then go sell it after a quick fix maybe? Who knows After seeing the response, I had to add more so the truth is really known. As per Line 6, aftermarket parts are not allowed. And if you look at the messages you sent, you did not notice any glitch in Reverb until after I told you when you requested me to call you the second time. The messages you sent me to call you by your personal line at work. The first time, I spoke to a female employee that works or worked there. She got in contact with me over the phone, not by any text message. Phone records can prove that. Last, but not least, I don’t have to be back in Houston until March. You had plenty of time to discover what was wrong and repair it. I’ll say it again, do not take your Line 6 equipment there. For your own sake."

"Edited review. My wife encouraged me to replace my previous rant from 9/20/23 with something shorter and more to the point. So, revised review: - Charged me $351 for what appears to be a light bulb change. - Brought it back with existing problems + one new problem from the bulb changeout. - Tech berated me over the phone. - Bammel ghosted me for 5 weeks. - I gave up; went in to the store and got my stuff back. - $351 for a bad experience."
