"Updating my review, after my husband received a voicemail from James. A not so nice one at that. I am not changing the 1 star rating as I feel it is warranted for the professionalism and service we received. He did come and repair the dryer the same day, but the warranty only covered the part installed. He should have taken extra time to make sure there were no other issues. Does it really make since to only provide a warranty on the piece installed?? The warranty should cover any issues within 90 days as $460 is a lot to repair a dryer. This was not a service that was provided through home warranty, so I can’t just call for him to come out and inspect/fix it. He should have been more through as this is a small business and reviews matter. I am really upset. We had this company come and fix our dryer within the last 90 days. According to him we needed a new dryer heating part, the part and the install cost us $460. We were told we shouldn’t have any issues going forward and that most new dryers will have this same issue, so if we just bought a new one, we would experience the same problem. Our dryer is not heating again and the warranty is only good for 30 days. For him to even come and take a look, there would be a fee, which to me is silly given we just spent almost $500 to repair it. I wouldn’t use this company again!"

"I had to use this company for my washing machine through my home warranty, and I was very disappointed. The guy came out and spent maybe 5 minutes on it saying it was the control panel. They ordered the control panel, and replaced it but washing machine would still not work. It kept giving the unbalanced error code. I had to call home warranty and pay again for them to come out. They came out, and said it was because it was not level. The guy fixed the height of the washing machine until it was level, and said it should work or it would need shocks. I went to wash the laundry again, and it still wouldn't complete the cycles, and kept giving unbalanced error codes. I called home warranty and paid again, even though at this point I could of put all of this money to a new washing machine. I have been calling George's Appliances and leaving voicemails since Monday. No one would call me back, and they are supposed to call within 24 hours of putting in a claim. I called today, and their mailbox is full. I called home warranty again, and they called this company. The guy told them there is nothing wrong with my washing machine, that I said it keeps adding time. Which is not true! However, they would know that if they would answer their phone, or call back. I'm so infuriated with this company because I have not been able to wash clothes at my house since July 8th, and spent all of this money having someone come out and not fix it. I know it's probably not easy for them going through home warranty because I have now spent 45-1 hour wait times on the phone every single time I have to call trying to get this addressed, and it's time consuming. However, that is their job. I also waited at home 3 different times for a 4 hour time slot, for them to fix absolutely nothing."
