Dogtopia of Katy

"When we started almost 2 years ago we were very happy with Dogtopia Katy. However, the staff turnover within the past two years at first seemed low and now it seems very common. And I don't know what's going on but it seemed to have rubbed off on our dogs. Our dogs are not aggressive or they wouldn't have been allowed to be at Dogtopia. They use vague words to describe incidents like "tiffs" and when I ask questions the answers seems to get even more vague - even though I ask about my own dogs. So when they told me that my dogs would be on probation, I knew it was time to leave. Maybe it would not have come to this if they have been clearer in their communication with me to begin with. Maybe it was because the people who worked there when we first came two years ago were very clear on their communication. But it does not matter now. I'm sure they don't need our business anyway. If you would like communication about your dogs as clear as they communicate about how much they want your money, then I would not recommend this place."

"I am so grateful to have discovered Dogtopia of Katy! I was interested in enrolling my GSD into daycare, and I actually toured another Katy dog daycare in the area that was closer to where I lived. It was not at all as advertised online, and I knew I felt uneasy leaving her in the level of care that I observed which made me feel really discouraged. I scheduled a tour with Dogtopia the following day, and my mood immediately shifted. Summer gave me a tour of the facility and a breakdown of what to expect, as well of the level of care and services they provide the dogs while there. She answered my many questions with patience, professionalism, and compassion. The facility is clean and well kept. It is evident they work hard to keep a well rounded environment for the dogs. The website is an excellent resource as well. We signed up for the meet and greet which is a great value and an awesome opportunity to see if it is a good fit for you and the dog. It couldn't have gone better. They called me to let me know she was doing great on her first day and even provided me with a picture, brochures with helpful information, and a "report card" on her first day when I picked her up. I love that they offer so many activities throughout the month and all the donations go to such a great cause- funding a service dog for veterans. My dog is also a tripod and the offered activities are inclusive for her physical difference. All the canine coaches are so kind and patient. I am so appreciative of everyone at Dogtopia and could not be more impressed! Our experience has been wonderful and Lola looks forward to going- waiting by the door eagerly for me to take her twice a week!! She is so happy when I watch her on the webcam that they give you access to once you become a memeber, and she has so many friends to play with. Thank you, Dogtopia of Katy!"

They have even helped get him better with his bad habit of jumping on people.
