Rover Oaks Pet Resort, Katy

"I am very pleased with the grooming that our Havanese mix doggies received at River Oaks Katy. From my first contact by phone call the staff was friendly and helpful. We live about 10 miles from them but it is worth the trip. I brought photos of the cut I wanted them to get and they looked exactly how I asked. From the front door with large lobby the experience was cheeeful. Our dogs were held and “loved on” by the staff. We could also see that there are large outdoor areas (with shade canopies) so the dogs are not cooped up inside. We also saw indoor training areas. They offer a variety of activities too, like social times, birthday parties, boarding and day care. We look forward to our next visit."

"My Golden Retriever goes to Doggie Day Care every week. I started because she needed to burn off some energy, which definitely happens. However, I believe it is now the highlight of her week. She is sooo excited to go and now recognizes that we are almost there. The staff is clearly good to her. I have also had grooming done. She doesn’t really love that anywhere ever, but she looks beautiful when I pick her up. This is just a great place!"

"Very nice and polite staff. My dog lulu enjoyed her first night. Had no problems when I picked her up. I would recommend this location. I was also able to see my dog since they have a webcam setup where you can check how your dog is doing. And I like that they have a report of what happened during your dog's stay so everything is documented."

"UPDATE: Rover Oaks now has webcams setup so you can look in on your pups while they ar at daycare or boarding. AND they just upgraded the boarding facilities. I'm most excited about the cams. It gives you peace of mind while your pup is there. Our dogs have been going to Rover Oaks for daycare since April of 2022. At first we toggled them between Rover Oaks and another daycare. But now we are only using Rover Oaks because both of my dogs love going there. They are excited to get in there. They have their favorites on the staff. At the other place, we had to drag one of them inside. I think that says it all. The Rover Oaks crew seems to enjoy their time with the pups and I guess the pups can tell. We haven't tried boarding them there yet, but I'll update the review once we have."
