"Had to say goodbye to my sweet Contessa TigerLilly Bean today (Tess for short). I have to give the staff at the Animal Hospital of Georgetown a huge thank you for their kindness and understanding as I said goodbye. I'm sure its not easy watching a 220lb tattooed and bearded 45 year old man weep uncontrollably but they showed so much sympathy and shared so many kind words. They never pushed but offered their opinion on the best course to take. They treated her as if she was their own even feeding her by hand and speaking softly and sweetly to her. Kindness is rare these days and to see so much love for an animal they have never met really made the decision easier. I can absolutely confirm every staff member loves animals and cares for their owners in times like these. I will be using this location for all my pet health needs moving forward.
