"I never like to leave anyone in my own community negative reviews but I wanted to make anyone aware. I wish I would’ve taken my daughter elsewhere for her horse riding lessons. I paid for a 4 pack of lessons for my 8 year old to begin some lessons a few months ago to start her off (after an introductory lesson). and we had discussed doing most Saturdays a month but that didn’t happen. In total I took my daughter to the intro class, and then we had to wait over a month for her first lesson because she was going through a huge issue trying to find a new location for the lessons. Later on, we attended 1 lesson, and had 3 left to do. But we missed some weekends, which I would email about in advance, and forgot a couple times to let her know, and she just filled the spot without even notifying me. It would’ve been nice to know she planned on doing that. She did try to reach back out to provide other times for classes but it conflicted with the one weekend a month we have a conflict which I let her know about, and I never heard back, and would try to follow up because my email would go unresponded to for so long. I have finally given up and lost all that money and feel scammed. As a side note, I also felt shamed when we came for the first lesson and she commented that we didn’t have the riding pants, or boots needed. We are new to these lessons, and Im very busy during the weekdays. It would’ve been nice to have been given a list of necessary gear, or told what to wear, or even suggesting where to shop,‘would’ve been helpful beforehand. I also felt like she was a little rude in general at times (rough around the edges). I’m sure she has some big fans around the community but I’m definitely not one of them and feel like my money was wasted and my daughter was upset that we cant go back."

"My daughter and I had a very good experience with Jen and the lovely horses here. We took lessons for about 3 months, mostly just to learn the basics to be able to ride comfortably on our own. We enjoyed grooming the horses, and the lessons were very good. I overcame my nervousness with riding horses."
