"I’ve been bringing both of my sons to Dr. Marshal for years 10 years+. She is always incredibly pleasant and she always listens intently - Even through the harder or rarer kiddo sicknesses, she is great to deal with. We unfortunately had to leave this practice because her partner Dr. DeHaro saw my child for severe stomach pains. He commented about my child's eczema, to which I replied we see my best friend who is a dermatologist. He gave me no advice, nor did he prescribe my child anything. There was no conversation beyond this, nothing. Then I get my bill for more than what was quoted to me. I called and they said there was an entry for eczema. I told them we didn't come in for that, I didn't ask for that, that the doctor made an observation and I let him know we have a doctor for that. They said they would have to get a deletion approved. They didn't delete it and so I let them know I would be leaving the practice. Then the lady (mind you this took 2-3 phone calls to solve) tells me that she is making a 1-time exception for my case. Lady - I don't need your exceptions, I need to quit fraudulently billing me. Folks, this is over $51. It's clearly just about the principal. They wrongly and unprofessionally added to my bill. The fact that they argued about it to the extent they did it bananas. To Dr Marshall - you are better than your partner in every way. I hope you find another practice or start another one yourself."

"We have been patients since my son was born, over 5 years. Ascension bought them and now we will be switching. The docs were amazing and the nurses were great too, so this really sad. Their billing is not simple. I can't just pay my copay at the appointment. They send a bill and make it hard to pay online. My kid is sick today. I call to make an appointment. They will not see him. They told me I cannot book an appointment tomorrow either. I should take him to THEIR kids urgent care. No thanks. Horrible service. Big corporate sell outs. Just gross."

"Brought my son in when he was sick. Explained in detail to the Dr the issues and symptoms my son was exhibiting. I claimed to the Dr my son had something going on with his throat and it looked red, tender, and had a bad smell, he disagreed and claimed it was just a virus. Followed his direction to "allow the virus to run its course", but my son remained very ill with a fever over the next day. My wife took him back in to get checked again. After a strong request to the nurse to perform a throat swab to check for infections, the Dr came back in to the room and argued with my wife that he doesn't have a throat infection (he didn't have knowledge my wife requested the test), at which point the nurse walks in and claims the test was positive for Strep. What was worse than having to pay for two visits, take time of work for both me and my wife, was the fact the my son had to needlessly suffer. Me and my wife were warned about this place from other parents, but we gave them a shot anyway. Should've listened."

"My experience at this clinic has largely been with Dr. Erin Marshall. The one star is deserved because Dr. Marshall does have an excellent nurse who is very personable. Initially, I had some frustration because my daughter develops a terrible cough that I would take her in for, and I could NEVER get a cough medicine prescribed. My daughter would wake up with coughing fits throughout the night and her teachers would tell me that she had a terrible cough when I picked her up from daycare that I should get her treated for, and despite all of this, I would consistently be told to continue to give her the 2-3 OTC medicines I would have to give her to soothe the cough, instead of the doctor prescribing something that worked. I even told Dr. Marshall about a prescription cough medicine that our former PCP would prescribe, and this was ignored. One day however, she did give me some samples that had been left on the counter, which were also ineffective. Despite my frustration with this, I kept Dr. Marshall as our PCP, probably longer than I should have. My final tipping point came because of the treatment we received in regards to my daughter's speech delay. Looking back through my medical records, I expressed concerns with my daughter's speech delay on numerous occasions. I scheduled consults to try to work with Dr. Marshall to figure out what the cause could be because her development has been great in every other area. I requested referrals for neuro exams, had her evaluated by our dentist and an ENT who gave us good reports. We started speech therapy, but with sessions 3X weekly for over a year we noticed very little progress. Throughout all of this, my "concerns for my daughter's speech delay" were noted, but I never felt that Dr. Marshall tried to help me figure out the root cause for the delay. I was constantly told that it was "developmental" and that she was catch up. I recently scheduled another consult with Dr. Marshall to discuss this same concern. During this appt, I asked her if I should get my daughter's hearing tested again because something wasn't adding up, and she told me no. She also told me I should invest in some "books and flashcards" because they could help a lot. My daughter is 4 now, and for the past 3 years I've juggled law school and being a mom-with people telling me all the time how amazed they are with how much I work with my daughter. We've been doing simple things like books and flashcards since infancy. When I heard that from Dr. Marshall all I could think was how insulting can you be. After that consultation, I decided to take my daughter to another ENT specialist against her advice, and my daughter was diagnosed with severe hearing loss in both ears, which makes it hard for her to hear sounds above a certain pitch/frequency, and explains her speech delay and everything I've expressed to Dr. Marshall for over a year. I felt the need to write this review because as parents we are our children's strongest advocates. If I had listened to these doctors my daughter would have continued to get further and further behind her peers academically, and in life generally. I've been frustrated with this entire process overall, but I'm extremely disappointed that I expressed concern to her pediatrician for months, and it never occurred to her to advise something as simple as another hearing evaluation. Every step I took for my daughter was because of a conclusion I reached on my own. I would not recommend this clinic, but I would advise parents in any similar situation to be alert and question everything!"
