"Owner is incredibly rude. Ran 12 minutes to pick up my daughter due to a train... and I was lectured for 5 minutes infront of other customers and told they would charge us next time... an this is not the first time. -which absolutely is not true. I told her thank you for the lecture and then my wife called to see what was going on... and she was incredibly, awful and rude to my wide. This place has seen better days and they don't know how to treat loyal customers. They young girls were really good with our daughter and so we are a little sad to leave ... BUT. We would NEVER stay!! We are in total disbelief!"

"I have three granddaughters in classes here. The coaches are gymnasts, young and most can teach by showing or doing the activities with the kids. They move the kids forward based on skill. This is my only complaint is that for a lot of the kids it’s just an activity but I have one serious gymnast. She is bored before they notice she is ready. Usually by two or three classes. Wish they had a better way to evaluate. The teacher is busy teaching and is forced to pay attention to the kids who are acting up. Classes are Not overly crowded, but a little bigger than I would prefer. I wish they offered earlier classes for home schoolers. I like that they are not overly focused on competition. Very organized in their teaching style."

"Everyone at Texas Star goes above and beyond to try and make the athletes and parents feel right at home! We love it here and Mickey and the owner Nancy are truly sweet ladies. Ever since my daughter and I have walked through the door on the first day everyone has made us feel just like family. The gym itself meets beyond expectations when it comes to the amount of space and equipment the athletes are able to use. Nothing bad to say here!"
