"Our son has been with Reding for 6+ years now. Professors Mark, Larry, Steve, and coach Ashley are fantastic. Professor Larry's Monday BJJ Competition class is our must attend appointment for the week. Larry has cornered for us in several tournaments in the DFW area and, win or lose, his encouragement to our son is to put himself out there. Professor Mark has a way with teaching kids that is pretty special to watch. Whether in a class setting or a private lesson you get the sense that he really loves your kid. Mark's Thursday beginner BJJ class gives our son the opportunity to impart his 6 years of learning to the young kids an lower belts. It's great to watch him teach a little 5 year old beginner how to take him down, put him in side control, and start working for an Americana! :) Sensei Steve and Coach Ashley run the Saturday morning Judo Comp class. They've fostered an competitive environment giving the kids lot's of confidence and tons of skill to go along with strength training. Our kids medal in every tournament and bring home trophies but most of all they have fun and love working together. The team also gets to teach beginners and lower belts at the Thursday beginner class. All in all, Reding Martial Arts is a family. We love it and we love to have y'all join us! Come learn something."

"Highly recommend checking Reding out whether you're looking for yourself or your child. Most of my experience is with the kids' classes, and being a youth coach myself in a different sport, it was so refreshing to see coaches truly engaging with the kids like this! They keep classes engaging and fun, but also maintain order so that the kids are actually learning and progressing in their skills each class. Wonderful welcoming atmosphere and great location!"

"Love for jiujitsu started here! Absolutely the best environment to grow! I didn’t know how mentally and physically stabilizing the right academy, filled with right people can be! This team is absolutely amazing. Oh, & the woman’s open mat, you should find yourself there!"

"My son and I joined Reding Martial Arts 3 years ago, and we’ve enjoyed having a great place to train and learn. Mark and his team have provided a welcoming environment, professionalism, and a love for what they do. I keep a very busy work schedule. So, I’m thankful for a gym with multiple class times throughout the day, and different combat sports to get confident with."

"I would've loved to train here but $300+fees/month is just way too high for my price range. They try to get you into a 4 month contract so you stick with it, but it seems more like a predatory work practice to fool those who are new to fighting. Aside from the price, I think the gym seems okay otherwise. Only one heavy bag, but they do have nice mats and kick shields. There is also a small weight lifting area for conditioning. I didn't see any trophies, which isn't a great sign. One of the sparring partners I had there had quite the temper, but the rest were very nice. If you're made of money and prefer grappling to striking I would recommend Reding. Not very beginner friendly."
