"Something must be wrong with the phone system. They used to pick up quickly, and now it takes forever. I've been holding for 15 mins."

"I should first start with acknowledging the fact that Dr Tomecko is wonderful, however my experience just ends there to be any positive. Problem is Dr is good but for what use if we can only meet her literally twice since July 2019. My understanding of pediatrician is that they are doctor of my child and they should be seeing them not just for annual health check visit but anytime we really need them. Every visit I had with this office have resulted in some unknown doctor, long waits and absolutely zero interaction with kid to make them comfortable first. Forget about kids, even as an adult we dint feel welcome, I am just wondering what would kids feel to be there!!! If we cant meet our PCP frequently than what is the point of having them in the first place. I am ok with one or two visit with other providers if they are absolutely stuck but i expect them to follow up with us after the visit. Else kid is just a data in their system they never bothered to meet, treat or establish a connection. Staff at the front desk, oh my, I dont even know where to begin. Extremely Rude, absolutely zero care for their patients. Every visit in last 2 years had not been pleasant but My last visit with them kind of enough to put the last nail in the coffin. My daughter had fever so decided to visit to check her up. Again Dr Tomecko is not available as usual. We arrived at the location and as usual never greeted. There were literally one parent with their kids was sitting outside, so I just started wonder what are the doctors busy with??? anyway, we were called in, we waited in office for about 25 mins and without any conversation with kid to have them feel comfortable. They swabbed her twice to test for flu and covid with brute force (I understand that with kids it is difficult at times) again all this without any communication with kid to first make her feel comfortable or prepare them for the process. As usual my kid was crying and felt bit shaken after that, so we headed for the check out. At the counter lady dint say a single word to my daughter as she was crying and trying to come to reality as what just happened to her. I asked for a candy from the desk just to help her feel better and no answer. I asked for about twice and I was given EXTREMELY RUDE " Go Ahead" like I was there to get the free candy only or kind of stealing their precious treasure. Whatever, my experience with this office has been miserable so far and so bad for my kid that every time we say we are going to see a doctor she gets scared and sad. This was not the case when we were in Indiana before moving to Dallas about 4 years. Until she became 4 years old she knew her doctor, used to be happy to visit them and have never cried after the visit. She always left the office happy and it is just not the case anymore. I cannot let this going on, so we have decided to stop visiting Dr. Tomecko unfortunately has not happened much in last 2 years either. I strongly recommend to find other PCPs for your kid instead of putting them through this ordeal."

"This lady is super sweet and down to earth. She takes lots of time to answer any and every question we have thoroughly, I'm sure she does that for every patient and yet the wait times are always short too! I feel that our baby is in good hands. We like her a lot."

"I will first say that I went to this facility due to the google reviews and I wanted to see Dr Tomecko. However, she was not available the day I needed my son to have an appointment. I was assigned another doctor that works in the office. An hour before the appointment, I received a call stating that my insurance was out of network. The rep stated she will call my carrier again to verify, but never called me back. I called my carrier to confirm, and apparently, there was different name that should have been used for the doctor in order for it to be in network. Why? I have the slightest clue. Next, I called the office to confirm that I will still be arriving to the appointment and the representative didn’t even acknowledge if they would accept my insurance, she just stated ok. My son and I arrive to appointment, and the rep working front desk was on the phone so we were not greeted. I signed in, and when she got off the phone, I was still not greeted; she just called my last name. She gave me the docs to fill out and I waited for our name to be called. Once our name was called, the RN opened the door and didn’t greet my son or I, so I just said Good morning! And she just responded good morning, go to room 5.. We get into room 5, and without acknowledging my son again, she stated, ”take off his shirt and shoes.” We got his weight and pressure, and the entire time she only said two words to my son “Be still” and “stop moving”.. Once we were done, she directed us to an area where they test your child’s vision. She told him to stand on the spot and just started to ask him what letters did the board say. Now, my son is 6 and this his first visit to this office and doing all of this, so he doesn’t know and he is nervous. She started to show him the pictures to see if it would help, but even I could barely see the images. Once we completed the vision test, she directed us to a room and we sat there for 30 minutes. The doctor arrived and she interacted with my son a tad better, but it still was kind of dry. She did her tests and asked questions. She asked did he get a flu shot, and i stated no. She immediately started to force her opinion about the flu shot and that people have died in front of my son. To make matters worse, she asked my son did he wear a helmet when bike riding, and he said yes and then she asked did i wear a helmet, and I said no. She said what if you fall, bump your head, and die? And I’m like, I don’t know. She ended the visit with her recommendations and that was it. I go to check out and the lady printed my docs and said have a good day. Didn’t offer my son a lollipop that they had on the desk or anything. This is all to say, I will never return to this doctor office and i do not recommend them to anyone. This is a pediatric healthcare facility! You would think these adults would have some type of energy and passion for the kids, but it was like they weren’t engaged. I’ve been to many pediatric offices and every single one had high energy, excitement and made my son feel comfortable and happy to go back. Maybe my standards are too high, but my goodness, if you’re dealing with kids versus adults, you know what you signed up for. I did not get to meet Dr Tomecko, but if she has any authority in this facility, she may need to evaluate her staff."

"Dr. Tomecko is so down to earth and personable. Staff is very nice and not hard to get in to see doctor. I do wish they had a separate well waiting room!"
