"There are plenty of reviews here that praise Ron's excellent service and product so I'll instead speak of Ron's character as I came to measure it during my short time on the phone with him. The character of the man can often give one an indication of the character of his product. My name is Jeff, I work for a company in Portland, OR and this week I had the honor of reaching out to small businesses in Edwardsville. I must say that interacting with the amiable, friendly and polite people inhabiting your community from the employees to the owners of your many small businesses left an impression and made the week an absolute pleasure and Ron Mueller at Kitchenland is absolutely no exception! We probably spent 20 minutes on the phone together despite conducting about 10 minutes of actual business, the rest of the time was spent discussing politics, current events, our shared German heritage and the dangers small businesses like Ron's are facing due to COVID related shutdowns. It is rare in my line of work that I can say I really enjoyed my time on the phone with someone and Ron's down to earth, humble, affable and sensible personality made that possible the other day. Ron's Pop opened the place, built it up and passed it to Ron who's kept it strong and it takes a strong will to maintain a strong business. Who better to work with than a strong multi generational family business? I also got the impression Ron really cares for his community after commenting on his desire to support the local legion post.
