Crowne Plaza Chicago-Northbrook, an IHG Hotel 2875 Milwaukee Avenue, Northbrook, IL 60062

"The hotel and room are good, the lobby and seating areas had a very strong cigarette smell, the place looks clean it is just smelling like an old bar.. I am not from Chicago and maybe it is normal here, but for me that was a downer."

"The hotel itself was nice but they double charged me for everything I bought and refuse to refund me. To explain further- for over a week I stayed here. Every time I bought food from their restaurant or got something from their convenience store I used cash. They still asked what room number and I told them, only to find out later they also charged my credit card for all the same things. So I paid 2x for everything I bought. So DONT PAY WITH CASH! I spoke with them and they didn't seem concerned about figuring it out and said it would be too difficult to prove (do they not record cash transactions?! Why accept it then?)"

"Big hotel and was a nice room, almost got lost trying to find the elevator was so far away from the lobby. A bit upscale with nice staff. Bar food was good"

"The room was decent. TV didn't work had to call the desk, and someone came up and used a remote he brought with him. No pool indoor and no hot tub."
