"We were at The annual Walleye Banquet 03/02/2024. We were in The Geneva Room, it was a buffet style dinner. The food was pretty good. After dinner we requested coffee from Brian the server that was working our table, which required water/coffee and removing dirty dishes. We were served coffee and our table ran out of cream. My wife very politely said excuse me to Brian and he replied rudely ( now what do you want) not good! Brian you are in the wrong business. He took away drinks we were not finished with clashing the dishes with anger and was generally not professional. Definitely not Lake Lawn Lodge material. Done ranting! Everyone else was very kind and professional."

"Have been going to Lake Lawn Resort for decades. In the past the woodsy cabin like decor atmosphere always gave it a warm welcoming feeling. For some unknown reason the natural wooden beams and wood wall coverings are being painted in white and grey tones, might as well be a hospital room. The renovated room we recently stayed in still had paint fumes and whoever designed the new room forgot to include a dresser with drawers to put one's clothes in. A coffee pot and microwave were now in the closet, so depending on whether your brewing up some coffee or a microwave snack, the brewed or cooked aroma stay with you on your clothes hanging next to them. Gone is the mini golf course my kids use to enjoy in the summer, I guess the arcade game room inside is meant to replace the outside activities the kids could enjoy? The rustic themed frontier dining room has been transformed into a formal looking dining room again forgetting the original theme of the resort. Sometimes, change just for the sake of change, does not lead to an improvement."

"My wife and I attended a marriage retreat here. It was amazing! The resort was so quiet and romantic. Our room was beautiful and newly remodeled. Everything was clean. All the staff was so kind and friendly. Our meal was incredible. Oh and definitely would recommend the ice cream from the cafe. It was also so yummy!"

"Great place for family! I've been coming here since I was a kid and now I take my kids. It's an annual tradition. The rooms are great. I love the lofted rooms and so do the kids! They feel like they have their own hotel room. I love how the overall hotel is spread out so it never feels too crowded. Beautiful views both summer and winter."

"Has a wonderful couple of days here after Christmas with family. Very nice clean comfortable rooms. Loved that all the rooms connect & didn’t have to go outside in the cold. Could walk to the pool, the restaurants , the playroom & each others rooms. Christmas decorations & outside lights were beautiful! Will definitely be back! Restaurants were very good, service good. All the employees were very friendly& good at their jobs. Had family activities like scavenger hunts & bingo to keep the kids busy. Good job lake lawn!!"
