"READ THE REVIEWS. LOTS OF COMPLAINTS ABOUT THE ATTITUDE OF THE STAFF. Desk worker/Manager was EXTREMELY uncooperative and disrespectful. Every time we asked for something, it seemed like we were bothering him. He did the bare minimum and was very sarcastic with every interaction. Ruined the place for us. I filed a complaint about him but still have not heard back. We will not be back. The electric outlets were not working on one side of the bed. The elevator signage assumes it's always wet. Pretty hard to take that seriously. It's down at the end of a long hallway. How is it always wet? Ever hear the story of the Boy Who Cried Wolf? Breakfast was good, with a decent variety."

"This place was so nice. We were shocked at how amazing our room was for the price we paid. Hands down the best hotel we've stayed at in a long time. The pool was actually warm enough to enjoy and the hot tub was nice and hot like they should be. They have a lot for breakfast. A make your own omlet station, waffle makers, eggs, potatoes and sausage, biscuits and gravy and of course cereals and different breads and fruits. We really enjoyed our stay here. Thank you!"

"I have stayed here in years past, as I am not from Wisconsin, however; I do business in this state. Those of you how have noticed the arrogance of certain staff members, you are not alone. There seems to be a wretched odor of this current defuncted liberalism that has reared it's ugly head throughout our nation. I refer to the term If you were able to get a room you were fortunate. I was rejected from even making a reservation there in Delavan, as the staff member that took my call (after waiting ten rings to pick-up) did not like the questions that I was asking, and stopped me just long enough to tell me (and with little explanation; that I do not fit the criteria of what they/he expect in a quest, and that this conversation must cease to continue). The questions that I was asking were legitimate ones, and related to what I had noticed at this particular Comfort Suites during my past stays. Issues such as whether or not gang members regularly stay there, or possibly the characters that I noticed wondering the (dimly lit) halls with large headed Cane Corso or Bullmastiff type dogs were typical quests. This clerk found that my asking if Mexican cartel members stayed there was the final straw, and that everyone was welcome there except for my family. I was forced to look else-ware for a room. apparently I was not woke enough for this clerk, or not woke at all, but just a no-nonsense conservative white male. Where did I go wrong? I just wanted to know who was staying there."

"My husband and daughter drove from Colorado to Wisconsin, 16 hours straight to make my mother in-laws funeral. They called about 10:30 pm as they were driving to book a room and confirmed twice that someone would be there to check them in as they would be arriving between 2-3 am. They were exhausted by the time they reached the motel and just wanted to sleep. However, there was no one at the desk to check them in. They rang the bell, walked around, called out… nothing, no one came. Reluctantly they left and had to drive around town looking for a room. They were so tired they were hallucinating. They finally found a room and were able to slept for a few hours and get a shower before heading to bury his mother. About 10 days later a charge shows up on my credit card from this place. When I called to inquire, they said my husband and daughter were “no shows” so they were charging them a cancelation fee. I explained what happened and they basically said I was lying… huh? They said there is always someone at the desk and there was no way it would be unattended. I tried to explain that my husband and daughter rang the bell and called out and no one came. Their response was “that’s not possible.” Ok who, in their right mind, would drive 16 hours and, instead of checking in to a room they already have reservations for, decide they would rather drive around town at 3 am looking for another vacant room someplace else?!!! I am disputing the charge with my credit card company. It’s not even that much money, but the idea of being taken advantage of and being called a liar when their employees are not held accountable for abandoning their responsibilities at the front desk. They say they have cameras and can see when someone comes in…. THEN LOOK AT YOUR VIDEO FOOTAGE AND YOU WILL SEE YOUR 3rd SHIFT EMPLOYEES ARE NOT DOING THEIR JOB!!! Whether I win or loose this battle, I will never stay at another Comfort Suites, or any other affiliated motel or hotel. Ever. I’ll sleep in my car first. This place has the rudest employees I have dealt with in my life. I personally think whoever was working that night must be sneaking off to sleep somewhere and they don’t even care because they’ll make money anyways by charging you a “cancellation fee.” How can it be a cancellation if there is no one at the desk to check you in when you arrive?"

"We stayed at Comfort Suites Delavan, WI for 1 night on 9/27/23 for a work trip. I was skeptical as there were some poor reviews, but it was just 1 mile from my client. We were in room 213. I did not find the hallways dark & outdated like other reviews. The room was spacious & I had plenty of time to work while my husband relaxed & watched tv. Great place for an affordable family stay, they had conjoined rooms as well! There are plenty of places to eat nearby! The room was clean! The bed was ok, and I always travel with my own pillows! The continental breakfast was plentiful & looked good. I only had coffee, McDonald’s is just around the corner & my hubby wanted to go there! There is a coffee maker in the room & toiletries are included. My only con is the pool area. This hotel was pretty quiet during the week with business travelers, and I do not think the pool gets much use. This is common at many hotels I stay at, since Covid, the pools have gone downhill in my opinion. Overall a great value for the price! I will stay here again if I’m in the area!"
