"Awesome hotel ! Clean and bright. Staff were very friendly and the valet was great ! The area was safe and the park across the street was perfect to walk our dog . We walked to a wonderful restaurant for dinner; Ocean Bistro only a 4 minute walk ! Definitely a great place to stay !"

"Having Marriott Ambassador status and with 150+ nights/yr, this has to be the worst hotel. Room 603 both sides of King Bed sagging 5 inches in the middle. Became worse throughout the night. Woke up with a back ache at 5am. Front desk refused to switch my room even though I have a 4pm checkout. Front desk employee said, “If the bed was like that, then the hotel would have replaced it.” I think it would’ve been best to inspect the bed before insinuating a guest is lying or exaggerating."

"It is a clean hotel with attentive staff. The rooms are nice, and new and very spacious. They do not have tubs. Also only partial doors on the showers. Kitchenette minus stove is provided. This hotel is not very walkable for being in Clayton. Limited delivery options as well. The local imos is below average."

"Such a nice, clean, well furnished hotel! The rooms were huge and, though I wish they had bathtubs, they were very comfortable. A lovely large lobby with a bar and restaurant and a really good complimentary breakfast with different egg options each day. The parking is a little pricey but the garage is very convenient and there's street parking available outside at night. The staff were very polite and helpful. A+"

"My rating is probably 4.5 stars. The room is spacious and has a great view of a park. More importantly, the beds are comfortable and we had great sleep during our stays. The hotel is in a pretty safe neighborhood and is not for from WashU campus. There are some nice restaurants in close proximity. Here are a couple of downsides. You have to use a QR code printed on a piece of paper to enter the garage next to the hotel. I drove a sedan and I struggled to put the QR code high enough to reach the level of the reader. I am about 6 feet and have long torso. In addition, it would be nice to have 2 bottle of water in the room considering the price we paid."
