Clayton Plaza Hotel

"Just go ahead and stay a 200+$ a night hotel that has a fully operational bar and restaurant. Because they have neither, the restaurant is only open for breakfast. You will get your initial hotel fees, and then in the dead of night, they slide a receipt under your door that's 30% higher than what you believed the charges to be. Stay someplace else with functional amenities, and that's up front with actual cost. You're spending 200$ here regardless."

"We were here with our whole family for a college baseball tournament. I have to say it was one of the most enjoyable stays we have had. People were so friendly, rooms were very clean & breakfast was outstanding. We would definitely stay here again."

"I went here for a banquet I didnt stay in a room. Food was great for hotel food best I have had. Restrooms are so far away, a lot of older adults were at the banquet and walk was far for them."

"Checked in Tuesday pm, the front desk lady was EXTREMELY helpful, sweet, & funny. My checkout process was horrific. The front desk ladies were amazing, the Manager with (faded red hair) was the opposite. She has no concept for customer service. She has no right to be in the hotel industry as she doesn’t know what it’s like to help a customer. Her attitude facial expressions the way she spoke the way she acted in front of other guest was completely unprofessional and embarrassing."

"Came to this hotel in the evening and finished the check in process. A round 2 hours afterwards, got a call from Rene saying that the payment didn't go through properly. As the person who is staying in the hotel does not speak English, I am communicating with them to have them make payment. The front desk rushed me and threatened me that if i cannot make a payment today then she will just lock them out of their room. Horrible attitude and horrible service. I told her give me a moment and be patient, she talked back to me asking me no one asking her to be patient. 1. If the payment didn't go through, I should be notified in the first place in stead of two hours later. 2. The front desk serve has horrible attitude. This is the worst experience I have had so far. I asked her who is her manager and she told me she is the manger. The fact that the hotel's manager has such poor responsibility and poor attitude towards her customers is outrageous. Never going to stay in this hotel again and be aware of this women. The hotel should also take necessary actions to ensure that the front desk can respond to customers properly."
