Town House Motel

"Customer service is good. They have an employee who works to stay next to me rent free. He is intoxicated and admitted he drinks on the clock. Also damaged my wife's leather jacket. Tried to frame someone else by making small holes in the jacket. They cut into the jacket that came from her biological father. I understand people more they think. I been in and out of here for 3 years and had a bad experience over all. The management tries to make up for the team he has. The residents talk about the tall white guy when I ask about their workers and who doesn't do there job. According to the guy he doesn't feel comfortable going into residents room to do any task because he doesn't like people. I don't understand why would he get into a field where he has to go and not damage anything while he is working. Seems to me he can't trust himself with other belongings. I wish that the other employee keeps prevailing into success and continues his work on being a freemason. Jay you deserve a raise in my opinion from how much maintain the peace and continues to go up and beyond for others. While the other maintenance guy that calls people a tool because of how he feels. He belittles his girl when I see him. He has a short temper and can't control himself to no do the job correctly. I get it being inexperienced could cause poor performance. Doesn't mean you get to verbally assault my wife because she asked you nicely to pick up your trash in front of your room. I also get my wife could of turned a blind eye, she cares about mother nature."

"We were referred to this hotel by a friend who had never stayed there himself. We made a reservation before we left Missouri we were told if we did not arrive by 6 p.m. that he would rent out our room to someone else. We arrived in Freeport shortly after 6 p.m. and we called and he did let us keep our room. He took us to a room with two beds we only required one bed. The air was not working in the room with one so he did give us a $10 break on the room with two beds. We accepted the room because we had plans immediately that evening. When we were unpacking I noticed that both bedspreads were soiled and so were the sheets on both beds . There is no space in the bathroom to put any toiletries the shower is a little stall and no place to send anything. If you turn on the water in the sink you get water sprayed all over the front of you. It was not a place you want to stay in for any length of time. Only exception is it would beat homelessness. We did make other reservations the next day elsewhere and were very pleased where we stayed across town for barely over what we paid at the townhouse."

"Been staying here since April and the owner and his wife are awesome people that appreciate good people staying at there motel. They care and work with people and they care about there motel and are proud owners. The rooms are spacious and nice and it feels like home when your away from home."

"Been here 2 times in the last 2 years. Not very friendly. When asked about pillows I got an attitude. I asked for extra towels got an attitude, then they left the towels by the door. Then they said something about cleaning once a week when I asked for the pillows again. This is not bad for feeling like the hood for a motel."

"I made a reservation in person to this place days prior to scheduled arrival on August 5th 2017. Upon my arrival at approximately 10:00 PM the night of my stay I noticed that all the lights were off in the lobby and there was a "no vacancy" sign on the door. Needless to say I was not happy. Fortunately I have Family in town and was forced to impose a stay with them. The following day I went to the motel and was given all kinds of excuses as to way they had filled my room with another person, and that when they are full they close down the lobby to save electricity because of the lights. I traveled for a living for many years and have never experienced this poor kind of treatment. Normally I would not stay in a flea bag like this anyway, but I was by myself and it was inexpensive. I would not recommend doing business with people like this! Maybe they did me a favor. At least I didn't bring home bed bugs in my luggage."
