"We had a lovely weekend! When we arrived the 'wood burning' stove was lit and music was on. Very inviting. We totally enjoyed the views and the ambiance. The Potters Inn was a little walk away and had great food. We would definitely stay again! Thanks again for a lovely weekend!"

"We stayed at the River Stone cabin for a week. I loved the 2 bedrooms and the great view of the Mississippi River. This was the most relaxing vacation I have had, and that is what we came for. Watching the ships go along the river in the sleepy little town of Bellevue was a pure joy. The cabin was small but had everything we needed including a full kitchen. We will be back next year."

"2 years ago when I stayed here last we rented out Froggy's, and it was a great experience. This time around, they've split Froggy's up into two rentals now, consisting of Froggy's and Mill Creek. The ONLY bathroom access is to walk through a bedroom every time anyone needs it; and the bedroom that has the bathroom, their temperature is controlled by the people renting out Mill Creek, which made for a very hot and uncomfortable night for my infant and myself. Froggys has a small unit that keeps the small kitchen and sitting area cool, but the bedroom with a queen bed and the bathroom have vents to the central AC unit that is now a part of Mill Creek. How can you leave 2 rooms temperature control to the mercy of other guests?!?! We had no one renting out Mill Creek our first 2 nights of our stay, but the 3rd night someone was there and it seems they turned off the AC unit entirely. They are also only separated by a bedroom door off of the "master bedroom", it attaches to the kitchen in Mill Creek. So when the guests in Mill Creek decide to stay up late and hangout in their kitchen, the light lights up the entire master bedroom and you can hear everything they say and do in the kitchen. Splitting Froggys into 2 rentals was the worst decision they could've made. I'm also shocked at how rude some of the staff was. We assumed when we rented this that we had the entire cabin, because they did not have it split the last time we stayed. Mill Creek did not exist the last time we rented here. So when we arrived we were short a queen bed, pullout couch, and 2nd bathroom. I would not recommend this to anyone ever. While our time with family has been wonderful, the issues with the cabin have just been adding up the longer we are here. Save your money for a better place to rent, and do not stay here."

"I randomly found Moon River cabins by searching for romantic weekend getaways in Iowa. The wife and I stayed for the weekend and it was great! The cabin was very clean when we arrived along with the grounds surrounding. Only "downsides" with our stay was the hot water did not last very long (understandable with minimal space for large heater), and pillows not very comfortable. Both did not impact our stay in any real way and will not keep us from returning. Most definitely will recommend to others 4.99/5"
