"We enjoyed a wonderful stay for the Titanic dinner. The elegance of the main rooms and furnishings hits you in the face the moment you walk in the door. Dinner and breakfast were outstanding. Hostess was very welcoming and graciously showed us around and answered questions. The room is nice - not perfect - but comfortable enough, considering the historic setting. Very convenient location for walking to the Mississippi and downtown businesses. The bakery owned by the inn has nice treats and espresso for a reasonable price. We plan to return for another dinner."

"We stayed for my wife’s birthday and had a great time! The hosts were great and nice to talk to. Our room the Bellevue was the best. Food was amazing. If you’re staying for a romantic night the dinner is worth it! I hope to come back again."

"The place is nice to look at. The two staff members I met were very friendly and entertaining. The room looked nice but not everything worked. A light in the bathroom was out, the toilet constantly ran noisily through the night, the shower/ jacuzzi hot/ cold are reversed (that was a nice surprise). Trying to shower was difficult as the tub floor is a large triangle that was very slippery. My foot slipped into the drain putting a gash in my toe and swelled up. The white towels for bathing are stained and just look dirty. The bed my wife and I slept in smelled like bad B.O. and the heater in the room did not work. So on a night when the temp was below zero we had no heat coming to our room. As for the murder mystery, I was expecting a lot more. All we did was dress up, sit in a half circle in the living room area for an hour, and then sat at the dinner table for 90 mins and then it was finished. It didn't really seem well planned out. We really did like the staff, just not the accommodations."

"My girlfriend planned a weekend here for my birthday and it was nothing short of amazing! The murder mystery was a blast , and all of the staff make it even better with their personalities ! The Christmas Decor is straight out of a hallmark movie , and the room was beautiful. Naomi was literally the best , she went above and beyond for everything we needed , and had an amazing personality. Would recommend this place to anyone , and will hopefully be back in the future !"

"This is a great place to use as a base to visit different areas of Eastern Iowa. The staff is great and knowledgeable about the area and the breakfast was delicious. The rooms are awesome as well with the fireplace and Jacuzzi tub. Highly recommend visiting this home and exploring the area."
