"Avy had an appointment for Oct 20 @ 11am. I was informed that since his appointment was at 11 I would have to drop him off prior to that. I dropped him off at 10:30. His appointment was for vaccines and his physical exam. I asked at which point I should expect to pick him up and I was told after 2 maybe closer to 3. It seemed a little bit long for a couple jabs and a physical exam but okay maybe they’re just monitoring him afterwards to make sure he’s fine. I called at 2:30pm asking if he was almost ready to be picked up. I was told he hasn’t been seen yet and the vet got behind with surgery and quality of life case. I get it. I work in medicine so I understand delays. Every pet parent has the right to know if things are running behind. But a 3.5 hour delay after the scheduled appointment is unacceptable. No human patient would wait that long without walking out. It is not fair to the animal. They don’t know what an animal’s history is with environments like that. I was furious. I immediately got in my car and picked him up. I got there and was told the same thing. I mentioned I would rather bring him home than have him wait more there. The representative I spoke to had him back out quite fast. He’s never going back there. I’m so grossly disappointed and will be looking at other animal hospitals. Our initial visit there last year was amazing. He was great and they handled him really well. It was the reason we went back today. Never again. Feb 13/24 update: I have sent an email to the address they provided after initially posting my review and corporate directly (via their customer service link) and have not heard back. This is truly disappointing as it’s not us that they are serving but, rather, our pets, who are our babies on many accords."

"We travel full time, so we chose Banfield because they are in so many places. We have been impressed every time by the friendly staff and good care. I don't like dropping our dog off and leaving him just for shots, but, besides that I'm happy."

"This place DID properly diagnose and treat all 3 of my dogs when my previous vet had the all on allergy medicine for 8 months at $100 per dog/no results. For that I am thankful of this place. However, this establishment come off as very disorganized. Honestly almost every time I visit or call, there is confusion, nothing serious but so damn frustrating it really makes me want to look elsewhere. But again they actually helped my dogs so as long as they are in good care, I will put up with the rest. Some staff is kind but some come across as rude or irritated."
