"Very thankful for Blue Pearl when my senior dog was going through a bit of an emergency recently. My vet referred us to them when it was clear that she needed a bit more specialized care. Blue Pearl had gotten all the files from my vet before I arrived and the only bit of paperwork they had for me they filled out so I could keep holding my pet. A small gesture, but one that made be feel a lot better and less flustered. Dr Brooks listened very well while I went through all the details of what was going on with my dog. He was a sympathetic listener and he was realistic (though optimistic) about my dogs prognosis. She stayed a couple nights and I was able to visit during visiting hours which I appreciated. All the vet techs were great and kind and they took their time explaining things. When it came to discharge, they were really thorough about walking through all the medicine and the harness we went home with. It made me feel much more confident going home with her and making sure I was going to be able to give her the things she needed. There were no surprises on the cost for me. The total ended up being just shy of the estimate I was told when intake was finishing up."

"We went to blue Pearl to assist my dog with injuries to her skin. The folks there were kind considerate. The place was nice and clean the doctor that treated my dog was very kind professional. We are very happy with the service she received. We left the facility with everything we need to take care of her. Thanks again for all you did for her."

"The ladies and gentlemen that work here are truly professionals. I came in for the first time for emergency treatment for my German Shepherd. From the first initial phone call, to the ladies working the desk, to the gentleman that took us to the exam room - across the board they were all knowledgeable, timely, but also empathetic and mindful of how stressful these things are for not only the animal, but for myself as the owner. I would absolutely put Nate’s life in their hands if I ever need to have an ER visit again. Keep up the good work y’all! Continue setting the bar. It makes a world of difference. Y’all are awesome."

"Don’t go here. I have a baby teacup Pomeranian. I came in with my crying girlfriend and her son. The tech came up and looked at the puppy and said they need to take her back immediately she’s critical. 5 minutes later a woman at the front desk comes up and says they need a $1000 deposit to treat the critically ill puppy. We told her we can’t afford it (I thought it was sketchy asking for $1,000 after seeing the puppy for 5 minutes) so they gave us all these options on how to pay. We said we can’t afford it. 3 minutes pass and the woman comes back and says they can see her and treat her for $400. We declined. I stepped out and explained the situation to a different emergency room and they said she most likely had low blood sugar. My gf was still inside and they told her that our puppy might not make it to the next hospital you guys should buy some of our pet food. Like what? So I get home and put some calorie/vitamin paste on a q-tip and put it in her mouth and she was fine. The puppy was not critical and I’m betting top dollar I would have been charged that entire $1000 for literally nothing when the puppy just had low blood sugar. I felt strongly they were really trying to sell services we didn’t need and get money from us. They made it seem so urgent “her breathing is slowing she needs to get back there right away” they were trying to scare us into paying $1,000. Here’s a picture of our “critically ill” “barely breathing” puppy after visiting this joke of a place today. She’s playing and running around just fine. They were even talking to us about us paying $3000. The vet tech asked “how invested are you guys” My gf was upset and scared for our puppy and they fed off her emotions but I’ve been to sketchy vets before who did this nonsense’s so I didn’t give them a dime. I felt something was off almost immediately. I had the Vet Hospital from New Braunfels give me directions over the phone to help our puppy. These guys made it seem like she was dying and needed urgent care immediately. I looked at a review someone wrote 4 days ago, they had the same experience except the customer gave them the $1,000 to be told their dog has gas. I’m so happy I went with my gut and didn’t pay them. I honestly think what they’re doing over there isn’t legal. Scaring pet owners into paying thousands of dollars and feeding off their emotions to make money. It’s fraud. In response to the company’s response. The only reason anyone was stressed was because of your staff. You didn’t address anything I said in my review. You saw my pet for 3 minutes and suddenly a $1000 deposit is required. When I filled out paperwork the exam fee was $164? After 3 minutes your miracle VET assessed a $1000 would be necessary? Your staff made it seem like my puppy needed to be seen for something critical and was dying when she wasn’t. You play off of people’s emotions because pet’s are part of the family. Your company tries to get as much money out of customers as you can. Other reviewers say the same thing that I’ve said and it proves y’all are a joke because not one complaint was addressed. Some generic response. Whoever reads this DONT GO THERE"

"Thank you Blue Pearl vets for saving Knoxie. I'll be paying my bill off for months to come, but how can one put a price on a loved one's life? The vets and staff were compassionate, skilled, and communicative. Knox is recovering well from her emergency surgery."
