"Excellent program. If you’re serious about recovery, go here. You’ll create some of the strongest relationships of your life. Very regimented schedule to get you back in the swing of things with 4 AA meetings a week, solid programming for addiction and practice open accountability among peers in groups, daily. Not a lot of down time bc they keep you busy. Legendary staff with Tim, Duncan, and Bailey being point of contact for residents. They truly care.. Counselors are great too- Julia helped me through a rough patch. Be aware it is a 4 month program- not 3."

"If it wasn't for this amazing program and facility I wouldn't be here today. It's been almost two years since I first walked through the doors of BRC. I would first and foremost like to say that if it wasn't for the staff for taking genuine interest and concern for my overall being and seeing past my physical appearance that I was struggling with something much deeper than I wouldn't have stayed. I see some negative comments and believe me I had some when I first got to Austin, TX. But, sitting here clean and sober almost 2 years later I will admit that if it wasn't for this knowledge that was given to me by this program, I probably wouldn't be who I am today. I've come to my own realization that your addiction will convince your brain of anything to keep you living in the darkness. It will tell you that you aren't and addict or that because you look different that you aren't an addict. I'm currently still working on underlying problems that led me down the road of addiction and using them to help build my strength to continue this journey of recovery. If it wasn't for BRC I would still be a lost 29-year-old mother of 6 beautiful children and I wouldn't know that a healthy relationship looks like or that firm boundaries with unhealthy people are okay. I walk in a new light thanks to this place and the people that make this program possible. One day my children will also thank them for giving them their mom back! No words can ever express the gratitude that I have for BRC. Please have an open mind when going into this program because I promise it will all be worth it. The program is strict but our addiction are even darker."

"I attended BRC in 2016, at my lowest in life. Today I’m over 5+ years sober and live a fulfilling life beyond what I deemed possible for an addict like me. I’m genuinely happy. BRC has legitimately stuck with me to this day and I remain in contact with peers. The bonds I made run strong and it was an experience I’ll never forget. BRC didn’t offer me an easier softer way only to let me fail later. BRC gave me the truth and a real solution to take with me, reconnected me with the 12 steps and followed through to transition back into the world. If you’re looking at treatment centers it should be said - if you have unrealistic expectations of a treatment center, such as it being the cure, you’re wildly mistaken. If you’re looking for the quick fix, it doesn’t exist in recovery from addiction. I had been to numerous treatment centers around the country, and as a “chronic relapser” I have bitter experience to show for failed attempts at sobriety. Getting a year or 3 years here and there just to burn it all down. What BRC did for me and continues to do for others is provide a space to implement in real time the necessary tools and principles - a solution to all my problems based out of the 12 steps. A solution that lasts and keeps me free, so long as I continue to practice disciplines and use what I was given. Ultimately BRC gave me a unique opportunity to practice these principles in an appropriate setting to start healing and living better, reinforced the tools and spiritual guidelines to show up as the man I always knew I could be, but could never do on my own. It is important to understand how many people take a jab with the low hanging fruit of “they are all about money and profit, etc.” which by the way I’ve heard about literally every single rehab I’ve ever been to by clients or families alike. Sure, they aren’t a charity, sure it’s not the budget of a state run facility or 30 day program. However, as someone who has been to state run facilities all the way to long term luxury treatment centers in Southern California, what BRC provided me was realistic and useful to regain my life for myself, my family, and friends. A real change. It’s hard to put a price on that personally, after the fact. BRC also served as a mediator of sorts for me and my family regarding communication. I hated it at the time, but today I’m closer with my family than ever and BRC helped mend those relationships undoubtedly. I have no skin in the game and where appropriate I have referred family friends to BRC, based on my experience. I can’t say any place is perfect. There are treatment centers that evolve with the times. There are some downsides anywhere you go. But unlike other places I’d been to, there wasn’t tolerance for any disruption from healing and if there’s a problem it is addressed. It’s no secret the real work continues outside of BRC and they are very clear on this with clients and families, which I can appreciate. As a “4th month er” 5+ years later sober and living a badass life, I’m very thankful for my experience at BRC."

"I am so grateful for BRC -the program, all the staff, the dedication to help and be consistent with this level of care is bar none. I have been associated with BRC for quite some time and I have found few other places that are even close to this quality of care for the clients and their family. My cousin came thru here recently and he has been so blessed to have been here, he is working the AA program, has a job, in sober living, doing service work! He is happy and sober- I have not seen him like this ever! I am truly grateful for BRC! If you are looking for help for yourself or a loved one and serious about it- this is the place."

"I arrived at BRC in January of 2016, walked through the doors straight off of the streets with no where else to go, my family was pretty much done with me. My mom had decided to give me one last shot at doing something different. The staff there went out of their way to help while I was in and also for the 7 months in sober living, today I am still friends with many of the people I went through with. BRC led me to a better life, one with a group of friends and great relationships with everyone in my family. At 3 years sober I live a life I never thought possible."
