Cotten Counseling

"I've been working with Krissy Cotten off and on for SEVERAL years now! Sometimes for difficult moments and sometimes just to vent about frustrating family and coworkers (and kids). Sometimes you need an outsider to tell you to "let things go", "let HIM/HER go", "focus on yourself", "that behavior is unhealthy." Counseling isn't to hear what YOU want to hear but what you may need to hear. I know we're not friends in the literal sense, but after all these years it feels like I'm going to my bffs house to let it all out. She encourages me, sympathizes, laughs with me... Mostly at me (because I justify my life with sarcasm!) I debated finding a new counselor after my insurance changed but I prefer to stay with my "friend" who has done nothing but support and motivate me! My experience with her has been for 'general female' anxiety/depression, SEVERE PPD, new mother drama and monthly maintenance! If you're struggling with these issues too then I Highly recommend Krissy Cotten!"

"Krissy, I’m still finding out things that you said to my wife all these months later. I gave you the benefit of the doubt when this happened twice before. Now, I find out you, our marriage counselor—hired to help us get through our issues so that we can keep our family together—told my wife, among other things, that you don’t think our marriage is going to work out and that she should just move on. We hired you to help us work through our issues, not split us up, but you decided to act like a gossipy friend rather than of a professional counselor. You took sides and abused the trust we put in you and tilted the scale in the direction you thought was best. That was wrong and you shouldn’t have done it and hope you never do it to anyone else. You are too casual in the way you deal with people’s lives. For anyone considering using Krissy as a marriage counselor, beware."
