"I went to school here from 1970 - 1973 when it used to be grades kindergarten through 2nd. My family moved away so I didn't get to complete my last year at Hoover. I still think of that place from time to time and wonder what it is like now. It used to be a great school for little kids. Hope Hoover continues for a long time to come. Mrs. Owens, Mrs. Bowels, and Mr. Chapman are the only staff names I can remember. All were great people. Also, what did they do to Spring st? It used to go all the way through to River Dr. I guess a lot has changed in 43 yrs. Including it's name which simply used to be called Hoover Elementary School"
