"Amazing guys that had the best attitudes! William, Kelly, and Fred helped me move from a 3rd floor apt to another 3rd floor apt. It was really hot this day, yet they maintained their professionalism and cheery attitudes. None of my belongings were broken or damaged during the move. Will definitely recommend to family and friends."

"Scam. Confirmed by my credit card company. Other people have similar issues. My story here. I would give zero stars. They took my reservation and then never showed up. Never called, nothing. When I called back an hour and a half later I was told that it was because I had made a reservation with them the same day. Inexcusable. When you take a reservation, you honor that reservation. Or at least let someone know that they may not be able to keep it. Told the only option is to reschedule. My entire move is ruined now (10 hour drive and more stops tomorrow already paid for and a house full of stuff). Do NOT trust them. Run and don't end up in my boat."

"Movers damaged over $5k worth of stuff, including a new refrigerator because they did not know how to pack item securely in a truck. If you tell them how specific items need to packed, they will ignore you and do whatever they want. Driver arrived four hours late to new home and was annoyed that he had to complete the delivery. The communication is awful. You will get a different answer from each person you talk to. They promise callbacks and never call back. The claims team will not communicate directly with customer during claims process. They are also very misleading when explaining coverage. Do not use them!!!"

"I will recommend Bellhop to anyone that is moving (already have actually). William & Tyler are AWESOME! They were professional, but friendly. They do not mess around & they work very well together. They asked questions and made a game plan and got to work. I used a different moving company last year & the entire experience was an absolute nightmare. If I ever need movers again, I will definitely use Bellhop."

"What they did well: (1) Communication is top-notch. E-mail confirmations, e-mail introducing the moving team, and a call from the team leader the night before were all well-done and left me feeling very informed. (2) Timeliness was perfect. The team all arrived on-time (the truck was nearly an hour early) and were quick to get started. I never saw anyone "standing around" and they moved with reasonable urgency and efficiency. The time estimate was only one-half hour off. (3) Just nice people. The team was friendly, personable, courteous, and (for the most part) was not careless in their work. (4) Booking like a breeze. It was simple-as-could-be to book. I knew exactly what I was getting into. I only two questions that weren't otherwise answered, but both were responded to quickly. Payment was easy and fair. Nothing complicated or shady. What they could improve upon: (1) Truck parking. They told me they couldn't park in my driveway because it was too steep. I had seen several other moving companies move people in/out of our quad-plex and everyone of them had either parked in the driveway on the incline or maneuvered in front of one of the garages. I was happy to honor their policy, but I explained the driveway situation to the team leader the night before and he never mentioned the policy. And because they chose to park on the street and go down a tall, winding staircase between the porch and street, it definitely cost me some time. There's no doubt the move would've been completed in less time if they would've parked in the driveway. (2) Paying attention. A couple of the team members were less careful with larger items. This was painful to watch. It definitely cost me some scratches and dents on my fridge. No move happens without a bruise or two, so it's not the end of the world - but the mistakes I saw could've been easily avoided. (3) Preparedness. We provided bottled waters to the team. At one point, the team leader asked how close a grocery store was to go buy some Gatorades for the team. This seemed like a fishy way of asking us to provide them some Gatorades. Or even if not, it seemed strange. I sure didn't want the team leader to be on the clock while he went to the store. And it's a summer day in San Antonio... you knew it was going to be hot. If you wanted to provide some drinks for your team, you think you would've thought about that before you arrived. (4) Team roster. When the team leader called the night before, he told me they would have a team of 5 guys and 2 recruits (trainees). This matched what it said online. He assured me to not worry about the recruits as they might be observing at some points during the move. This seemed reasonable, and he never said it, but I assumed I wouldn't be paying for the recruits. There ended up only being 5 guys total. One of them was a recruit. I still have no idea whether I was paying for the recruit or not. The recruit was one of their best movers, so I have no problem with it if I was. This was the only piece of communication that I didn't think was outstanding. This was only my second time to use a moving company, and my first time to use a moving company for an in-town move. I cannot tell you how much better of a experience this was than the other company I used. Bellhops made moving day go swimmingly. Jonathan, Jonathan-Blake, and Alex especially went above-and-beyond to provide an exceptional Bellhops experience. Despite their minor areas of improvement, I would 100% recommend Bellhops and will definitely use them again!"
