"At the end of the day, you can scour the internet for deals amenities but it comes down to what you receive once you open that door to your room. Basics like pen & paper, plenty of towels, clean linens clean carpeting clean clean clean! no cutting corners on the basics that's all you really need and the price is right. Oh and it was nice to have a front desk person that was friendly and spoke English clearly"

"!!! MOLD !!! DIRTY, SMELLS BAD, very janky. The room we had reserved and paid for was for a king bed. It was for my wedding, we ended up in a double. The room that was assigned had mold in the bathroom, on the ceiling, had a terrible painting cover up of something that looked like mold, also the ice bucket was absolutely filthy. I have pictures of all of these dissatisfactions. I asked for a new ice bucket, and showed them how dirty it was. She just cleaned it or gave me one that was still dirty but much cleaner than it was before. I also received a $13.00 charge to my card, when I asked what that was, no one had an answer, they said it would drop off in a day or two. The whole experience was embarrassing because my family and friends also stayed in this hotel. We were very disappointed, especially since it was our wedding weekend.. I have learned to do a much more thorough investigation on hotel rooms in the future."

"To start with, the man at the front desk was courteous and helpful. Had no issues there. The room however... where do I start. Some things were as simple as the DND sigh being dirty. Other things, not so much. Most of the metallic fixtures were rusty. The toilet was dumping water out from between the tank and bowl, flooding the bathroom. The shower hadn't been cleaned and there was black gunk on the walls as well as some hair. The bathroom exhaust vent was on, with no way to power it off, and the vent looked like it hadn't been cleaned since the Nixon administration. There was black mold in a few places as well. All of the towels had brown stains on them and one was falling apart. The water temp only got to "moderately warm". I didnt look too much farther into the room as I'd been driving for almost 18 hours and after what I had uncovered already, I just couldn't imagine the rest of this (or any other) room to be clean. I went back downstairs to let the front desk know I would in fact, not, be staying there and requested a refund which was granted on their side but the booking was through Expedia which I know can take a bit. I'll deal with that piece when I get to it."
