Mercy Urgent Care - Lincoln 1000 East Cherry Street, Troy, MO 63379

"If I could leave zero stars I would! Troy's Urgent Care is in the same building and billed through the same TaxID as the hospital, which means you will be charged an emergency room/outpatient visit for using urgent care. With our insurance it cost $238 to go to THIS urgent care, with any other Urgent Care location it's between $10-35. To note, my daughter had an ear infection, the Nurse Practitioner checked her ears, confirmed what I told them and prescribed medicine. EDIT - Billing was not helpful and just re-explained what I said above. Since this urgent care is not a free standing location and connected to a hospital.. you get charged hospital prices. DO NOT go to this urgent care facility unless you enjoy throwing away money."

"I went there myself and took 2 daughters there. It clearly says it's a urgent care and you only get to see a np. They will not charge you for a urgent care visit but a outpatient visit that won't be covered."

"Terrible experience, I went Monday they tested me for Covid, strep and the flu they came back negative and I got well your not sick the test are negative let’s get you a steroid shot and you should just get rest and then I was sent on my way not even attempting to care about me.. I proceeded to get worse so I went to total access urgent care. They asked many questions to get to the bottom of it. Tested me for Covid and the flu just to be safe but also listened to everything I had to say. I got a chest X-ray and guess what fluid in my lungs. Unfortunately I’m way worse all because I was dismissed. Listen to your patients! Do better! Do not go to the Troy urgent care! Take the drive to Wentzville and go to total access!"

"Went to Troy Urgent Care yesterday was very pleased with care, professionalism, and concern shown by everyone. Was a bit of wait, but I wasn't upset by this because they had a child with a broken arm and a deer hunter with a sever cut. NP apologized for wait. Overall very pleased!!"

"I took my daughter in recently for something stuck in her ear. The main nurse was very kind. She was being followed by a training Dr. The Dr in charge (not the training one) seemed short tempered with us, I've encountered her before and this seems to be her nature(or I've just caught her on a few bad days)but the nurse was by my daughters side and kept her from focusing on that. She was very kind and my daughter spoke highly of her to her dad after this trip was over. Overall we were done fairly fast. Unfortunately though when being discharged the training Dr stepped in to check my daughters temperature again as it was slightly high when we got there. She closed the door but not before telling us someone would be with us shortly. We waited about 30 more minutes before I stepped out to ask if someone would be with us soon since we had been on the way out before the training Dr stepped back in. A woman who said she was not apart of the urgent care but rather in charge of the rooms around the room we were in told me in a short temper to step back into the room and that someone would be back with us soon and to have patience and they must be busy. She hardly let me get a word in but I followed her directions. 30 more minutes passed and I stepped out to use the restroom before I got there however the main nurse walked around a corner and spotted me. She gave me a questionable look and I took the opportunity to ask her if someone would be with us soon. She said we should have been done to which I informed her what the training Dr said. She replied "no no that was a mistake your done, I'm sorry that was a mistake". From there we left. Care wise was fine. The thing was removed. The nurse was great. The main Dr was testy and not my favorite I've encountered there. The lady behind the counter in charge of the other rooms needs to gain some of the patience she preaches. The following Dr maybe needs more direction. This wont stop me from coming there if in need but I'll remember to bring a book or something to keep me busy in case we are forgotten about again."
