"⚠️DO NOT BOOK! She is admittedly a bad loctician. She told me out her mouth that she “is more of a barber” BOOK ANYONE ELSE IN THE AREA IF YOU HAVE LOCS!! ⚠️ *I’m only typing this due to the owners lack of accountability and failure to acknowledge my messages to her* NO ACCOUNTABILITY! As a Black business owner myself I’m disappointed with the lack of professionalism and respect they have for the customer. I tell her I’m tender headed and I get tension scars on my scalp. She laughs. And proceeds to manhandle me. I’ve had Locs for 3 years now. I’ve been tender headed all 3 and even then I typically am very relaxed in the chair. Most times I even get comfortable enough to take a nap. This was my first time going to her and last. It was a hair school so maybe it was partially my fault but if she’s the instructor I fear for the future of everyone in that shop. POOR WORK! I wish I could say after the manhandling, passive aggression, and blatant disregard for my experience I could say I’m happy with the work but unfortunately all of it was in vain. I have an appointment in the local area to fix what she messed up. I tell her I’m unsatisfied and she finds everything under the sun to blame other than herself. I request a refund and she says MY FAULT she did a bad job. She says I have an uneven number of Locs, but I have 68 and there are some she never combined. Worst two strand twist. After all that, I request a refund and she gets to personally attacking me and saying that the refund WAS going to come to me until she saw my google review that was much lighter than this one. I don’t think she intended on sending the refund at all. Which is fine, but now I just want to ensure that no one else makes the same mistake of getting anything done with her. Book at your own risk. She is NOT a professional. In skill nor in service."

"Just did a walk in and had a horrible experience with a student that works there. Never coming back to this place. My line up is out of place and he was too in a hurry. 45 min for something simple. save yourself the money and go somewhere else."

"So we had an altercation today with the manager or the owner she was very unprofessional. Taking her frustrating attitude out on children trying to fight them the light skin women that fat one that look like the Pillsbury dough boy from Ghostbusters. I will right one and send one to the better business bureau as well. Don't ever try and fight kids trashy establishment!!!"

"Super professional, very clean and comfortable shop. Not gonna lie, didn't know it was a college til I got there. If it did make a difference, it's only for the better. It took a little longer then I'm used to, but perfection takes time. I love the cut I got, I loved the staff there, and for someone who has been trying to find a new barber- I feel like I'm not gonna have to worry who cuts my hair, because they don't allow anything less than a satisfied customer. If you're sleeping on this place, wake up- And set an appointment. Thanks guys!"
