"Today I went to the dollar store to get a couple of things and someone paid for some of my stuff all because I let them go ahead of me, good to know that there is good people still in the world, thank you so much to this kind soul, I personally love the dollar store they have stuff that you usually can’t find in other stores and the staff is always nice I’m never in a hurry to get out of there."

"The store is constantly a disorganized mess. Cashiers are rude and unfriendly. A simple question resulted in a disrespectful attitude from the cashier. Overall experience left much to be desired. Not to mention Batavia now charges for bags…. I’ll shop elsewhere."

"I really scored at this location!! The store was clean, organized and well stocked. I'm one of those people that has to look at EVERYTHING and I can't be rushed!! You'll never know what you're going to find unless you look!! When I find a treasure, I like to stock up on them. The next time you go back, it might not be there. I found Goli vitamin chews (I really stocked up on them!!), YES facial wipes and facial scrub and vegan toothbrushes. I'll definitely be back to see what other treasures I can find!!"

"I am not one to leave reviews, but I couldn’t help but do so after my visit. I went in to buy some Mother’s Day cards (day before mother’s day) and they were slammed. There were only two associates working and they were both on the registers. The lines were long, but that didn’t bother me. I came back a few hours later to grab some other things and the same two associates were in the same place they were at when I had left the store earlier. I ended up talking to Karen, the lady working, and asked her if they had been the only two people working for the day and she said yes. I had mentioned that I was in the store earlier when they were slammed and her immediate response was to apologize for the long wait times. I told her that the long wait times were not an issue, and that I actually felt sorry that they didn’t have any additional help during such a busy day. She looked extremely grateful that I had understood the struggle of being short staffed and kept thanking me for being empathetic. Moral of the story: always be kind. Long wait times at any establishment these days are not the employees fault. They’re doing their best to keep up with the circumstances at work. The people working are human too. I will be reaching out to someone higher up in hopes of giving them the recognition they deserve for their hard work."
