"Todd is the best guitar teacher my children have had. He is currently teaching my very particular 15-year-old son, and has such a patient, gentle, fun, and engaging approach to his lessons. He clearly genuinely loves (and knows!) music, and also loves connecting with his students. Todd's approach to lessons, though, is thorough, technical, and dense. His instruction is continuous throughout the full 45-minute lesson, and includes counting, note reading, accompaniment, chord progressions, scales, etc. I am excited at the richness of my son's experiences with Todd and feel lucky to have found him."

"Todd brings a wealth of training and experience as a musician, teacher and guitar maker (along with related training and experience in other fields) to his lessons. I am enjoying my guitar lessons with him and learning much quicker than in the past. One reason is that Todd quickly gets a read on where his students are in their learning and how they learn. I appreciate his emphasis on breaking things down into pieces, then learning the pieces before putting it all together. This approach makes daunting tasks easy. I should add that Todd is very patient with his students. I also appreciate his love for the blues because I wanted a teacher who could teach me this genre and related forms.
