In the Pattern

"Awesome school ITP was my last attempt after I quit the previous school twice and had no hope of getting back into aviation. Started with ITP in July of 2023 when the weather in Texas was over 100F every day for over two months. learning something new wasn't easy and the weather didn't help what so ever. was getting airsick and motion sickness for the first two months, god knows how many times i want to quit during that time. With all i said, I had a great instructor ( Gabe ) that never gave up on me, made me feel that I can do it, pushed me to exceed my limits and achieve my goals. always felt that I was taken care of wither on the ground or in the air, wither at the school or home through the entire training. the week of my check ride he was checking how I'm doing and don't have any questions almost everyday. the day of the check ride he was there and didn't leave until I was done with it. Was nice to see the owner of the school Sherman almost everyday there talking to students, making everyone feels like a family not just a customer. Never seen this man not smiling. On cold Saturday mornings, you will see him walking in with boxes of donuts for who ever is there. Office staff are the nicest people you will ever meet. they were on top of things all the time wither when I talked to them at the school, via phone or emails. When i was ready for my check ride the school did it best to find me a chick ride date within a month. I would recommend ITP for anyone that are looking for a school that CARES."

"I’ve had nothing but great experiences here. The staff, the planes, and the people they have surrounding the school… all great! I’ve trained at a few different airports, and this school really is amazing. Sherman is so great & runs a great program here. With maintenance on site, they’re able to get planes the TLC they need, and in a timely manner. They’ve just added some new planes to the fleet, so they are growing everyday. They also have a wide variety of types of planes to choose from. I can’t say enough good things about this school. The renting process was smooth from the start. All you need to do is schedule a checkout flight, and they’ll take you up and show you the area/make sure you’re proficient to fly. Then the world is at your finger tips, and they make it an easy process to get going and get your hours in, if you’re working towards licenses/ratings. There’s plenty of fellow aviators time building that you can meet & fly with. There’s an awesome staff that does well in training their students. They’re able to work hard to find you a DPE to get you a checkride, even though they’re hard to find these days- ITP makes it happen. The prices are average for the area, and they don’t overcharge you for renting/instruction. I completed my commercial license here, and I’m glad I found this school. The airport is also very awesome. Easy to learn the airspace and the airport, and overall, it’s a great environment. For quality planes and instructors, you should come here!"
