"First night I stayed was awesome. I ended up having to make another reservation the next day for 2 nights because plans had changed. On this occasion it was said that they required my C info because I was using CLC and calling the hotel directly to make the reservation. I explained that I made the reservation the day before directly without this being asked and he insisted I give him the info in order to make the reservation. I told him I wasn't and that I'd call CLC directly instead. He smugly encouraged that method of making the reservation. I will be in the area off and on for the next month and that interaction has lost them my business and many of my coworkers as well. When we were issued our CLC cards we were told we would not have to give out our CC info and many of us will pass on hotels who ask."

"We paid with a card in advance of our trip, as we understand this is the policy at many hotels, and our room is already paid for through our card in their system. We extremely seldomly use a card and never carry one. We were told we needed to pay $10 upon arrival with a card for the possibility of a cleaning fee and are unable to even check in because they will not take any amount of cash. We’re having to beg our friends who aren't even here but are attending the same event to pay it for us and it has been extremely embarrassing to have to ask and then wait in the lobby for an hour for them to arrive. We’re running on 2 hours of sleep in the past 36 hours. I know this isn’t the fault of the desk staff here but want to make others aware of this ridiculous policy. I’ve never had this happen at any other hotel."

"I booked a king but ended up with another room and queen beds. I was disappointed. The manager did a discount on my stay, which was nice. Also, I wasn't aware that the pool was not going to be available for use. We like swimming to unwind after hours in a car."

"A little gem of a hotel. We had trouble finding place for a nights stay for our last night of a four week road trip. We needed a pet friendly with reasonable good reviews. We looked and was having trouble finding one that would fit our needs. We travel with our toy poodle, Jolie Fleur. After looking at many reviews and making a couple of calls, we thought we might need to keep driving. We made a last call to this hotel. They had availability and even though it was a little higher than we usually pay per night, we took it. We had been driving all day and we were ready to take a rest and have dinner with a good night's rest. That is what we got! The staff was amazing and very friendly. The hotel was older but it looked like it had updated, very tastefully. We had a king bed with a very nice size room and the bathroom was very sizable. Ours had the walk in shower with water control opposite of the shower head, which I love! The bed was very comfortable and I must say, the AC was spot on cool, you know it works well when you have to turn it off because your so cold! The breakfast area was a great layout end there was plenty of seating available. The food options were nice, and would be able to meet most dietary needs. I love the elevators they were larger than than other hotels, which means a lot when you have to bring a lot from your automobile. The location was so convenient, just off the 70 interstate and plenty of shopping, great restaurants very close by. I would highly recommend this hotel if you're traveling in this area, its worth it! What I have learned, pay a little more get a little more!"

"This was a decently nice Hampton Inn. The property and fixtures are showing a little wear and tear. The location is convenient and there is plenty of parking. We had a couple minor problems with our room, and the front desk took care of everything. The front desk and maintenance staff were very nice and responsive. Breakfast was good, and the breakfast hostess, Gwen, was super. She made everyone feel welcome and made sure that the food was fresh and the tables were clean. The service was really the highlight of our stay."
