"So glad to still have a brick and mortar bookstore in existence! Been coming here for decades and now my children enjoy this paperback oasis like I did! The service is great, ambiance lovely, Starbucks hot, and plentiful areas to get lost abound. Spend some time here to remember what life was like BEFORE smart phones!"

"Purchased a few personal growth/self help books this evening at Barnes and Noble Joliet. I had wonderful experience with a gentleman by the name of Cristian at the checkout. He’d told me I had some good choices and asked if he could make some suggestions of his personal favorites. He wrote down several different titles for me that I looked into and are excited to grab after I finish the ones I just purchased. If you are in the market for some reading stop and talk to Cristian, very knowledgeable, and overall a very nice gentleman. You will not be disappointed. Thank you Cristian!!!"

"Absolutely luv there wooden mind puzzles called "True Genius" is mainly why I bother to go in the first place. These puzzles occupy you for hours just solving them :DD Heavily would suggest if you're quiet the thinker"

"I usually stop here around Xmas time to pick up some wonderful add on gifts for kiddos but recently I have been buying my mother in law the Classic section books and she has been thrilled! Peter Pan, Little Women, The Odyssey! They have EVERY classic novel that got me interested in reading and writing and now my family can rely on a new book when they are on their very last chapter of the one they're reading!! Pure brilliance and wonderful staff!!"

"I’ve recently started coming here on Wednesdays looking for my next bookish adventure in between my classes (I’m a Student at Joliet Junior College), and this place has so many choices a books that it can become very hard to decide. They have all sorts of awesome things, like magnetic poetry kits, which I hope to use soon for laughs and when I need to relieve any creative slowdown, but my favorite purchases so far have been from the music book section, from which I’ve purchased a music theory book, sheet, music, notebook, and a book teaching how to play the guitar for beginners. The staff is very nice and one of them, a woman whose name I didn’t get, has even complemented the badge pins on my purse (they were BanG Dream! Girls Band Party, and I ended up feeling inspired to get back into playing it at least semi regularly because of this). Happy to say I will be coming back to this bookish paradise every chance I get."
