"My daughter likes this school so much more than the private school she previously attended. There are so many clubs, sports, and activities she is involved with. There are many good kids here. The teachers are well educated and helpful. She doesn't have several hours of homework every night, just enough to learn from. Plus, the end of the year choir concert last year was incredible! Thanks for all you do Lubbock Cooper staff!!"

"I'm going to be completely honest. Consider me a "fallen pirate." I went to this school all four years in high school. Academics are great. Most of the teachers are great too. There are a lot of improvements that need to be made at this school however. During my either sophomore or junior year of high school, there were about 3- 4 suicides. They were all students I went to school with. Unfortunately this is becoming a trend and it needs to stop. 3-4 should tell you that there's a problem. I realize that not all suicides are caused by issues at school but it's important that schools are taking care of their students. Same goes with their parents. Personally, I graduated with some awful people I wish I never even met. I think part of that problem is that the zoning is poor. I have 2 friends who I was blessed to have met and that's it. I am beyond glad I'm graduated, and whenever it comes time for me to have kids in the future, Cooper will not be my first choice."
