"I graduated in 1961 and a close friend, who will be 100 years old on May 29, 2018, graduated in 1936. Those were truly "Glory Days" for AHS. We won State in football for 3 of 4 years in a row. RB Norman (Poppa Sandie) was already principal (he retired in 1961) and had started the fine art collection. "Blow sand blow" was already a promise in the 1930's. Sandies have a long tradition of greatness and producing young adults ready to make a difference in the places where they live. A Sandie experience will have a positive effect in the life of any student. I have seen many of our traditions are still living on at Sandieland."

"I attended here from 2004-2007. The school was amazing as well as the teachers and staff. I seriously commend the Latin classes as it has come in handy pursuing a medical career!"

"When i was a freshman, a senior headbutted me in the parking lot for no reason. He started crying to the principal and said i was making fun of his friend that killed himself. I didnt even know the guy. I was suspended and he went back to class. This school messed me up so bad i was in counseling for years. Thanks AHS. Thays just one example of the crap i went through there. If you dont dress nice and the parents dont have money, your dirt."
