AMC CLASSIC Morris 10

"This was our 2nd time coming to this theater since Covid restrictions were lifted. The theater itself is nice, very clean the employees are very nice and polite. There is always plenty of seating, once again it was just my wife and I in the theater for the movie we wanted to watch. Like I said, the theater itself is really nice. The only major problem is the seats. They have the most uncomfortable seats. The seat cushions are hard and absolutely no room. The seats are great if you are a child. I could see if the theater was packed, but I'm sure that is no longer the case. If AMC wants to attack more customers they might want to think about rethinking the seats in this movie theater. The parking lot tells everything. There was 10 cars in the parking lot when we arrived. Personally, we will find a different movie theater next time we want to have a movie and dinner date night."

"The theater smelled like pee...really reallly badly. 2 of the 4 chairs we sat in were busted (they sloped down so far they were impossible to sit in). There was no ice for the drinks and barely any options for different flavors because the syrups were mostly all empty. The staff was nice and the movie was good so I'll add a star for that I guess."

"I rented out a theater for my daughter's birthday party, and at check-in it became clear no one knew what was really going on. They looked up my rental confirmation but then I had to make sure they had all the food and party packs I purchased in advance, they didn't know about it already. The staff was nice, but the most basic of things weren't prepared or taken care of until we complained multiple times. First we were put into a theater that was already dark before the movie came on, not helpful to get kids in and set up. The movie previews started and it was sound only, no picture, and we went probably about 15 times over and over letting the staff know and asking for help. They didn't seem to be able to figure it out, finally got an assistant manager after specifically asking for a manager, and she moved us over to a different theater room, and told us the one that we were placed in had been having issues. Why wasn't that checked before placing us to begin with? And then we had to move 18 kids and all our stuff all the way down the hall. New theater was fine, and from there went smooth. Did walk past the original one as we got additional food and the movie sound was still playing in that room. As we were trying to deal with the original chaos, several other patrons not part of our group were in the halls with various other issues, so clearly a lot was going on here. I'd also asked in advance about there being a table for the cake we brought in, and then there was no table (my husband ended up going to Menards nearby to buy one). It would have been fine if they just let me know from the beginning, I know they don't have a party room, but to ask and be told yes and then it wasn't there was really annoying. On top of everything earlier. The theatre is definitely old and not kept up very well. We noticed a lot of cobwebs on the movie marquee lights. I wasn't expecting a brand new place, but wish I'd read the reviews before booking this for the party. While having our own theater was great, I would do the shared theater and private party room in Joliet next time."

"Feels like a theater of a small town that was great when it opened and then never updated. Ac felt like it was running in January, speakers in theater were definitely not great. The comfort of seats left some coushion to be desired. Bathroom seems mildly clean and the view out from the lobby shows no windows had been cleaned in a while. Although there is no wait and staff is fine. This AMC is in need of a significant remodel that for the area its in may not happen."
