"I was told that this was a good place to take children fishing. The lake was pretty much algae free. But, all that I saw was dozens of fingerling, and a few small bluegill. After talking with other anglers, I have concluded that this is not a place to take antsy children fishing."

"I absolutely love this park. The trail is great, the water is beautiful, the playground is nice. If I have anything negative it would be that I wish they could get rid of the water moccasins. I'm not sure there's much to be done about that, though. They always have great family activities. It's just a great park."

"Peaceful, well maintained park in Godfrey. A little fishing for the kids, lots of scattered picnic tables, as well as pavilions and a great playground for the kids. A must visit !!"

"Nice park with paved walking/biking path, about 7/8 of a mile all the way around. Public restrooms, a large pond for fishing and several soccer fields. Corn maze in the fall is a lot of fun. During that time, they have hayrides and other activities for kids (and kids at heart)."
