"My favorite lunch option in the area with the huge sandwiches. We just got a pizza for the super bowl and it was excellent as well. The deli has an array of prepared meat options to throw on the grill, along with pasta and other fare. It's not really a secret anymore, so call ahead."
"Best butcher in Illinois!!! Regularly grab a 7 bone Prime USDA from them and Dry Age it at home! They’ll help teach you everything you need to know! Best meat, no matter what it is, around. Great staff! Now they have their own rubs! Great fish as well!"
"Have my future daughter in law in town and wanted a special meal. Called Josef’s for some Skirt Steak. By the time I got there he was prepping my skirt steak. They have such pride in their meat they sell. He even showed me the marbeling details! And it was awesome!!! The flavor was great and one of the most tender cuts we’ve ever had!! I could not recommend more!!"

They are friendly, helpful and incredibly knowledgeable. We drive 20 miles to visit Josef’s. Every mile is more than worth it. This is such a wonderful shop! Small businesses are the best."
