"I don't normally write reviews, good or bad. However, I have never had a haircut as bad as the one I received at Zano in Batavia. This was my first time with this hairdresser. My hair is thin so I wear a classic jaw length bob. This is not the cut I was given. I am so disappointed."

"First time trying out Zano in Batavia and I was really impressed. I was scheduled with Dana who was super friendly. I was really long overdue for a haircut and it was quite depressing looking being so long and damaged not to mention the grey hairs. What a difference a hair cut makes. She even liked the difference and made me feel good about having the grey hairs . In her words I can embrace the greys a lot better now then the before look. It really meant a lot hearing that, I need that encouragement. I definitely feel comfortable going back to her that I even scheduled a highlight in April just to lighten up a bit for the springtime."

"This is VERY late but a year ago I got my hair done for w the first time and I absolutely loved it! My experience was great and the place feels nice and clean and my I felt like a whole new person after my balayage! Dana was incredibly nice! Can’t wait to come back soon."

"Olivia absolutely delivers! I went in wanting to try something new and came out with the haircut of my dreams! She gave me the most gorgeous curtain bangs and totally revived my hair with beautiful layers. She is so confident in her work and does not disappoint. Olivia is extremely personable and talented! I can't wait for my next appointment!"

"I made appointments for my daughter and myself to get highlights. Unfortunately, the girl who booked my appointment only gave me a 15 minute time slot. Needless to say, the stylist could not do my color. She was very nice, and set me up with the colorist who was also doing my daughter's color. (See sad photo.) My daughter asked for lavender highlights, evenly spaced, not chunky, with some underneath to be visible when she wears her hair up. After bleaching and coloring, only one small strip of lavender was on her hair. We were told that lavender only takes on platinum hair. That would have been helpful to know up front. So, we agreed to a darker shade of purple. The end product was amateurish. Horrible placement. Wine in color. No color underneath. Amanda, the colorist, supposedly trains new stylists, teaches at the salon-owned school, and provides continuing education for local stylists! Really? And, I won't even get into the disappointing results of my own color. To be fair, Zano's management has offered to correct my color at no charge. I would not recommend Amanda for color. Update: Spoke with the manager, who agreed to have my color redone by another colorist at no charge. Kourtney did a great job, and was very nice. Kelli, the manager also agreed to have my daughter's color fixed at no charge. Once my daughter saw that my hair was fixed, she agreed to go back. I spoke with Kourtney to see if she could do what my daughter wants...purple streaks. Yes, no problem. Come in on Tuesday. We arrive for the Tuesday appointment, only to find that THEY DON'T HAVE ANY PURPLE IN THE SALON. Again, Kourtney was very nice, but no one was apologetic about us making yet another wasted trip. Time is valuable, and this is getting ridiculous."
