aughters helped her design the space, which is painted in calming blues and grays. The waiting area features a fireplace, and each treatment room has a different theme, such as a beach or forest.
Venne’s goal is for clients to feel like they are on vacation when they come in for a service.
“People need a place to escape. Here, they can relax, unwind and be pampered. It’s a peaceful sanctuary, ” she said.
Venne plans to offer themed spa parties, such as a “Girls Night Out” or “Mother-Daughter Day.” She also wants to host events for military spouses and first responders.
“I want to give back to the community, ” she said.
Southern Serenity Salon and Spa is open Tuesday through Saturday. Hours vary, so appointments are recommended. Walk-ins are welcome, based on availability.
